When Scarlett had just finished her breakfast at nine o'clock the next day, the doorbell of the villa rang.
Raymond gave her a look. "I'll go downstairs and take a look."
"Alright."
Scarlett responded to him. She looked down and took a sip of warm water, then turned and went upstairs to change into her daily outfit.
After Scarlett finished changing, she noticed that Raymond hadn't come upstairs yet.
She raised her eyebrows and then went downstairs as well.
Scarlett just went out and saw Jean standing outside the door.
Scarlett hadn't seen Jean and Tiffany for a while since Jean had stopped them at the door for Tiffany last time. She didn’t expect Jean to come to her house again today.
She didn't go over and just stood in the doorway watching them.
The sun was shining brightly, and Scarlett felt hot after standing for a while. Then, she turned around and went back inside the villa.
Outside the villa.
Jean became anxious when she saw Raymond going back inside the villa. Then, she subconsciously reached out and pulled Raymond's sleeve. "Ray, he's your brother. Your brother!"
Raymond looked down at his sleeve, which was pulled by Jean. He frowned slightly." What he did was against the law."
"It's not that. You... You just have to get Mr. Lewis to convince the victim's family by pulling strings. As long as they agree to accept compensation and issue a letter of understanding, then Thomas won't be sentenced that long!"
"Since you have already communicated with the victim's family, and his family does not agree to settle. What's the point even if I let Mr. Lewis go over and communicate with them?"
Raymond raised his hand after saying this and pushed Jean's hand away. Then he turned around, shut the door, and went back to the villa.
It was such a killjoy that Jean actually came to his villa early in the morning.
Raymond had a cold look on his face. When he looked up and saw Scarlett, his expression eased a bit.
