Scarlett did come to Raymond because she had something to tell him. She didn't say anything else. Then she thanked the receptionist and went straight to the elevator.
The other receptionist had already informed Frank, who took the call from the receptionist and knocked on the door of Raymond's office. "Mr. Shaw, Miss Reed, she’s here."
Hearing Frank's words, Raymond, who was sitting at his desk, moved his eyes. His hand holding the pen paused for a moment. "Is she coming up?" "The elevator's coming up." Raymond closed the file directly in front of him. "Make a cup of brown sugar latte."
Frank froze for a moment. He responded with a quick nod. "Yes, Mr. Shaw."
Raymond had never been a coffee drinker. Although there were drip coffee bags of Colombian and Blue Mountain in the pantry, there were no drip coffee bags of lattes.
Frank had to ask someone to run downstairs to use the coffee machine in the staff pantry to make a cup of latte. Just as he finished talking to the other staff, the elevator door opened, and Scarlett walked out of the elevator.
Frank hurriedly walked over to Scarlett. " Miss Reed."
Frank's attitude towards her was quite different from before. Then Scarlett looked askance at Frank. "Is he in the office?" "Mr. Shaw is inside."
Frank said, guiding Scarlett to Raymond's office. He knocked on the door. "Mr. Shaw, Miss Reed is here."
A few seconds after Frank finished speaking, the door opened. Raymond stood in front of the door, looking at Scarlett." What are you doing here?"
Frank stepped aside. Then Scarlett walked into the office. She hadn't figured out what to say to Raymond yet. Looking at Raymond, Scarlett smiled as she asked him, "Would you believe me if I said I missed you?"
Raymond, of course, believed Scarlett's words. However, Scarlett obviously did not come to him because she missed him.
Before their divorce, he probably didn’t really know Scarlett at all. However, after their divorce, he knew that Scarlett was not the kind of person who made impulsive decisions.
She wasn't very warmhearted either.
Raymond lifted his hand and held her hand. Then he took her hand and went to sit on the couch. "Did Jean go to see you?"
