She was afraid she would lose her temper and scold Dario. In that case, Dario would probably quit his job.
Scarlett and Alexis hadn't dined out together for some time. It happened to be lunchtime when they finished the meeting. Alexis heard about a new restaurant specializing in seafood in the neighborhood.
Scarlett did not drive today, so she and Alexis borrowed Rylie's car to go out.
The restaurant was not far away, and it was easy to find it.
The environment was particularly good and could match its high price.
When they went in, they found a lot of customers here. But each table was separated. And there were even private booths, which was convenient for a big star like Alexis who needed some privacy.
Alexis asked Bylie to make a reservation before she came in, so she and Scarlett were led directly to a quiet and secluded booth.
"It’s been a long time since I last ate seafood!"
Alexis flipped through the menu and wanted to order everything.
Scarlett took a sip of lemonade. "It's my treat. Go ahead."
"Really?"
Scarlett looked askance at Alexis. "Or do you like to treat me?"
"Oh, no. You are so rich. Thank you for your treat!"
Alexis said as she looked down and ordered Austrana lobsters and red king crabs. She did not care about the prices at all.
Scarlett was used to it. After all, she could afford to pay a few thousand dollars for a meal.
It was just the two of them. Although Alexis wanted to order everything, she knew she and Scarlett couldn't finish all the food if she ordered too much, so she stopped after ordering oysters. She looked at Scarlett sitting across the table and asked with a smile, "Lettie, what else do you want to order?"
Scarlett cast a sidelong glance at her. "Can you finish all the food if I order more?"
In addition to the main dishes, Alexis also ordered side dishes. Her mouth was not big, she ate quite a lot.
"No, I cannot..."
In fact, Alexis did not mean to order more food. She was just trying to be polite.
