Scarlett subconsciously tightened her hand when she heard the sound of the belt colliding with the metal.
She was more than twenty centimeters below Raymond, but that was no problem for Raymond, who lifted her with ease.
At that moment, the land disappeared beneath her feet. She grunted and leaned forward over the edge of the washbasin.
Scarlett shivered as she leaned against the cold marble.
Raymond wrapped her in his arms and kissed her passionately. His hot breath fell on her face.
"Honey," he called her affectionately.
Staring at Raymond, Scarlett became so besotted with him.
'God, how can this man be so charming! He’s gonna kill me!'
The sunlight in the bedroom was a bit harsh. Scarlett narrowed her eyes when she was taken out of the bathroom. Then she tried to screen her eyes from the sunlight with her hand but had no strength to raise her hand.
Raymond put her on the bed. She pulled the quilt over her, took his large hand, and pressed it against her face. It was the first time she had taken the initiative to him.
Enjoying the moment, Raymond looked at her fondly. The warm sunshine seemed to melt his usual glacial expression.
Scarlett felt tired and sleepy. She halfclosed her eyes and mumbled, “Can you sleep with me for a while, Raymond?"
Her tender voice melted Raymond's heart.
He then lay down beside her and took her in his arms.
Scarlett held his forefinger and closed her eyes, "What were you gonna say?"
She sensed that he had meant to say something.
