Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 784

Jean was quickly brought up by Katherine. This was the second time Jean had come to Mornet Corporation to meet Scarlett.

Scarlett glanced at Jean in front of her. " Secretary Lawrence, pour a cup of coffee for Ms. Larson."

Katherine nodded and walked away knowingly.

There were only Scarlett and Jean in the office. Compared with the last time, Jean’s complexion this time was not very good.

Scarlett looked at the dark circles on Jean's face and smiled. "You didn’t sleep last night, did you?"

The dark circles under Jean's eyes were so

big that even makeup failed to cover them.

Jean stiffened when she heard Scarlett's words.

Before Jean went out, she deliberately put on much concealer under her eyes and much blusher on her face, just because she didn't want Scarlett to see that she looked awful.

But she was really getting old. She was not in her 20s, but in her 50s, so her skin texture was not as smooth as before. Worse still, she was so worried about Thomas during this period that she suffered from insomnia. So, it was impossible for her to look radiant.

As soon as Scarlett said these words, Jean knew that she had better not play tricks. Then Jean pressed her lips and said, "I want to make a deal with you."

Hearing Jean's words, Scarlett raised her eyebrows. "Okay. What are your chips?"

Since one wanted to make a deal, he or she must have a bargaining chip.

It was not that Scarlett looked down upon Jean, but that Jean had nothing now. So, she may not give the chips that Scarlett wanted.

However, Jean had well prepared. She was waiting for Scarlett to ask for chips.

"Raymond is Zacharie's son. And I guess you should be very interested in who Raymond's mother is."

Scarlett was stunned for a moment. When she reacted calmly to Jean's words, the smile on her face faded, and she looked at Jean coldly. "Is this your chip?"

She said, smiling. "Unfortunately, your

chip is nothing to me. Or, you should make a deal with Raymond, not me."
