Scarlett saw that Rowan and David had a lot to talk about, so she walked out of the ward after peeling the apples.
As she walked downstairs, Scarlett saw Larry, who was standing nearby and talking on his cell phone.
It was a fine day and the sun was shining today. Scarlett only wore a long dress, which made her feel lukewarm in this weather and she felt right at this temperature. Only when the wind blew, could she feel a little cool.
Seeing that Larry was on the phone, Scarlett didn't walk over to him.
She took out her phone and saw a message,
which Raymond sent to her 20 minutes ago, asking if she was free for dinner tonight.
Scarlett thought for a moment and replied " okay" to Raymond.
As soon as she finished replying to the message, Scarlett heard someone calling her. She looked back and then looked up at this person.
He was a middle-aged man in a suit. It was a nice suit, but it was the man's bulging belly that made the suit look ugly.
When he saw Scarlett looking up, he didn't hide the surprise in his eyes, "Hello, Miss. I'm Ethan Copeland. Can we get to know each other and make friends?"
As he spoke, the man raised his hand, showing Ferrari keys in front of Scarlett.
It was the first time in Scarlett's adult life that she had seen someone flaunt his wealth in front of her like this.
She looked at the man in front of her and laughed, "Sorry, I don't like making friends with strangers casually."
Scarlett looked absolutely stunning. Her eyes were even more attractive when she smiled.
It was the first time Ethan had seen such a beautiful woman. Her smile attracted his heart.
Ethan thought the woman in front of him was stunning. However, although she wore beautiful clothes, they were of lesser-known brands and she did not seem to be a wealthy person.
His company had gotten better over the years and he had met more and more women. So he could tell that the woman in
front of him was from an influential literary family.
Money wasn't the most attractive thing for a woman from such a family, so he had to pretend to be an educated person.
He thought of it. Just as he was about to show off a painting he had bought the other day, he heard a man's voice behind him, "Why are you down here?"
After Larry had hung up, he turned around and saw Scarlett standing over here.
Of course, Larry also saw the creepy man standing in front of Scarlett.
Larry had seen all sorts of people, so he knew what this man wanted to do at first glance.
Larry, who always had a poker face, smiled dryly now, but his aura was a little colder.
Ethan looked at Larry beside him. As soon as he caught sight of Larry, he felt suffocated.
Ethan was judicious enough. He just took one look at Scarlett longingly and then made an excuse to leave.
Seeing Ethan leave, Larry's expression relaxed a little, "Did he take liberty with you?"
"No."
Scarlett smiled and added, "It's not easy for him to take liberty with me."
Larry thought of it. Presumably remembering something, he looked at Scarlett and smiled, "I think you are right."
