"It's okay to order now."
"Okay."
Just as Scarlett texted back, she heard a familiar voice in the lobby on the first floor.
She didn't have the room card and couldn't enter Raymond's room, so she had to wait at the cafe on the second floor.
Scarlett thought Raymond would be back in half an hour at the soonest, but she didn't expect him to arrive so soon.
She hurriedly got up and took away afternoon tea. She carried it and went to the 18th floor to meet Raymond.
When Scarlett came out of the elevator, she happened to see a waiter finish serving the guest in the opposite room afternoon tea. Scarlett suddenly had an idea. She stood in the doorway of Raymond's room and changed her voice. "Hello, sir, your afternoon tea is ready."
The door opened soon after she knocked.
"Surprise!"
Scarlett proudly raised the takeaway box she was carrying, her pretty eyes filled with joy
Raymond smiled and raised his hand to caress her face. He then took her hand and led her in. "Excuse me, Mr. Morrow and Miss Morrow. This is my girlfriend."
Seeing someone else in the room, Scarlett felt a little embarrassed.
She glanced at Raymond. He was holding her with a smile. He was obviously in a good mood.
Raymond did not look embarrassed at all.
Scarlett straightened her back and smiled politely as usual. "I am sorry to disturb you.
"Not at all. We should be sorry for bothering Mr. Shaw."
Mr. Morrow, who was sitting on the couch, said with a smile. He sized up Scarlett and then looked at Raymond, compliment Scarlett. "Mr. Shaw’s girlfriend is really beautiful. Ms. Reed, nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you."
Scarlett looked at Mr. Morrow and smiled slowly, "Nice to meet you, too, Mr. Morrow."
"Mr. Shaw, since you have something to do, we won't bother you."
