As Scarlett contacted Frank in the first place, except for the few people Scarlett informed personally, no one else knew that Raymond had an accident.
Raymond had an accident, and Scarlett instantly thought of Ryker. Ryker was the most suspicious. However, Frank's investigation turned out that Ryker was still in custody, although the case of Ryker's kidnapping of Scarlett had not yet gone to trial.
Scott and Harold were busy saving themselves. And Ryker was in custody. Not to mention dealing with Raymond, they could not get themselves out of their own troubles.
So it was not Ryker or either of his sons.
At the moment, Scarlett couldn't think of anyone else.
Raymond had been in the business for so many years. He certainly had enemies, but who would dare to take on Raymond in such a desperate way?
Scarlett had never been in such chaos. She could not think of anything, not a clue.
As Scarlett had been silent for a long time, Larry asked the waiter for a glass of warm water for her. "My people got the hotel surveillance from last night."
Scarlett then came out of her thoughts to his words. She looked up at Larry, "So shall we go to the hotel now, Larry?"
"Get some food first."
Scarlett compressed her lips and didn't say anything.
Actually, she had no appetite.
But she knew that Larry cared about her.
Larry handed her the menu. "What would you like to have? Then I'll tell you about what happened in the surveillance last night."
Scarlett took the menu and glanced through it. She ordered two dishes at random.
Larry ordered something for himself. He beckoned the waiter and made the order. As the waiter walked away with the menu, Larry said, "The surveillance showed that when Raymond returned to the hotel last night, a woman came up to him and accosted him. But Raymond ignored her. He went straight into the elevator, but the woman followed him into the elevator." Then Larry paused for a moment. He looked up at Scarlett. Seeing that her face had not changed, he continued, "The elevator monitor showed that the woman said something to Raymond. When the elevator reached the top floor, Raymond did not go out but went back down to the first floor with the woman. They got in Raymond’s car and left the hotel. I haven't found out who the woman is yet."
Scarlett glanced at Larry, "I see. Thank you, Larry," she said nothing more after that.
Larry frowned. "The woman was young and pretty."
