Scarlett's flight would take off at six o'clock. It was raining in Acatoca today, so it was a bit colder than usual.
It was five o'clock when they arrived at the airport, and Scarlett directly went to check in with her suitcase.
Standing at the security checkpoint, Scarlett asked hesitantly, "Will you go back to Jakesville?"
Chris looked at her and answered firmly," Yes, I will."
Scarlett smiled, "I'll go in first. See you."
Chris stood in situ and stared after her silently.
Scarlett quickly passed the security checkpoint and entered the waiting room.
When she disappeared from his sight, he turned around, left the airport, and headed back to the hotel.
When encountering the red light, Chris took a cigar out of the iron box beside him. Just as he was about to light it, he spotted the ring on the passenger's seat. He paused for a moment, took the cigar out of his mouth, put it back in the box, and picked up the ring.
Its design was simple and elegant, and it looked like a wedding ring.
Judging from the size, he could tell it was a lady's ring at a glance.
It must be Scarlett who had left the ring here.
Chris raised an eyebrow and put the ring on his tail finger.
At the same time, the red light in front changed to green. He glanced at the ring on his finger, stepped on the accelerator, and drove the car forward.
The flight from Acatoca to Liechtho was only about 80 minutes. When the plane landed, it was 7:30 in the evening.
As soon as Scarlett took out her phone, Katherine called her.
Scarlett looked up at the sign, picked up the phone, and said, "What’s up, Katherine?"
"Ms. Reed, I'm already at the airport."
