At three o'clock in the afternoon, the car arrived at the entrance of Wakiza Prison.
Since cars were forbidden to go in, Scarlett got off and walked in.
It had been just a few months since Ryker was thrown into prison. He looked much thinner, and his eyes were filled with hatred.
Scarlett went over with a smile, sat down in front of him, and said, "It's been a while, Mr. Shaw."
"Indeed, I didn't expect Raymond to die like this. That's definitely great news."
Ryker said before laughing out loud.
The handcuffs didn't make it difficult for him to pound the table and laugh at all.
Scarlett smiled at him and said after Ryker stopped laughing, "Mr. Shaw, you're well-informed, aren't you?"
Scarlett was implying something. Albeit complacent, Ryker didn't dare to flaunt his privilege since two jailers were standing in this four- or five-square-meter cell.
He snorted, "Ms. Reed, I heard that you liked him very much. It turns out to be just a rumor. You don't look sad at all."
Scarlett chuckled and said, "Why should I? Raymond is fine."
Ryker froze, but he was not convinced. " Scarlett, at such a point, you're still fooling yourself. Raymond is dead. His car plunged into the river on a cold winter night. His body was not found because the fish ate it." "Mr. Shaw, I have nothing to say if you don't believe me."
Scarlett got straight to the point, saying," Here I am. What’s the deal, Mr. Shaw?"
Ryker lay back, crossed his legs, and crowed, "Nothing in particular. Scarlett, I just regard you as a talented person. It's a shame that your vision is poor at a young age. Both of my two sons are better than Raymond. If you were my daughter-in-law, the Shaw family would have been the richest in Juanton City!"
Scarlett lowered her head, laughed behind her hand, and said, "No regret! The Shaw family is the richest in Juanton City."
Scarlett looked up at Ryker and continued," Unfortunately, it's not your family."
"You don't know what is good for you! Forget it, I won't wrestle with a young woman! I'm going abroad in a couple of days. I'm afraid it won't be easy for you to see me by then."
Ryker's eyes flashed with excitement as he thought of his freedom overseas.
Scarlett looked at him and said, "Yeah, I don't know how many years you'll live with terminal lung cancer! Mr. Shaw, your luck isn't so good. The disease may attack you as soon as you get out, who knows?"
