Scarlett's heart trembled and then she nodded, "Goodbye. You should have a good rest."
"Okay." Saying that, Chris watched her open the door, which was ajar, close it, and leave the room.
The room was quiet again. Chris was left alone. When he closed his eyes and then opened them, his dark eyes had been cold.
Walking back into the room, Chris picked up his phone, found Alexander's phone number that he had just entered, and called him.
When Alexander received Chris' call, he was talking to Stephen and Jake about
Chris.
Thinking that he misread it, Alexander picked up the phone and asked Jake, "Jake, is this Ray's call?"
Jake rolled his eyes, "You made a note of' Ray' yourself. Don't you know that?"
Alexander suddenly became happy, "Ray is calling me. I'm going to answer the phone!"
Saying that, Alexander ran out of the room happily, found a quiet place, and answered the phone, "Ray?"
Alexander wasn't used to the name "Chris", so he insisted on calling Raymond Ray.
"Are you free now? I have something to ask you. If it's convenient for you, please come to Room 1608 in the Silvary Hotel."
"Okay. Wait. I’ll be there in twenty minutes!"
Chris nodded and hung up the phone.
Running back to the room with his phone in his hand, Alexander directly picked up his car keys and said, "Ray has something to ask me, so I'll leave first. You guys continue drinking!"
Stephen raised his eyebrows, "Don't be complacent. He definitely wants to ask you about Scarlett."
Alexander sneered, "You must be jealous of me!"
Stephen smiled and locked eyes with Jake without saying anything.
Jake raised his wine glass and clinked glasses with Stephen. Obviously, they laughed at Alexander.
