The two hadn’t stayed in the park for long before it suddenly started to drizzle.
Not heavy, the rain was drifting and cold.
"Let’s go back."
Scarlett took a glance at Chris. As soon as her voice died away, the man beside her took off his suit and draped it over her shoulders.
The suit was filled with Chris’s scent. He had changed his perfume and the smell was similar to the one before.
Scarlett lightly inhaled as he grabbed her hand and led her back to the car.
Chris's hair had been covered with a layer of rainwater.
The carriage was quite warm. Scarlett took off the suit and asked, "Is your perfume specially mixed?"
Upon hearing that, Chris looked sideways at her and replied, "Yeah, but not so special.
Scarlett chuckled and said, "I can ask Frank to introduce you to the perfumer who used to mix the perfume for you."
Chris thought for a moment and asked, " Can I have your scented candle?"
Scarlett gawked at him, came to her senses, and replied with smiling eyes,"
Sure."
As the rain outside got denser, Chris started the car.
Scarlett turned sideways and looked out of the window. Such peace of mind had been long-lost.
When the car pulled off in front of the villa, Chris woke her up. Scarlett rubbed her eyes, realizing that she had fallen asleep.
Thinking that they were back at Tenton, she looked outside, only to see her villa.
Scarlett asked in surprise, "How do you know I live here?"
She felt stupid as soon as the question came out of her mouth.
Chris had admitted his investigation of her past. Naturally, he knew the current dress of her home.
Thanks to his good memory, he remembered the exact address.
Scarlett unbuckled her seatbelt, gradually sobered up, and said, "Well, see you around.
Chris suddenly asked, "Can I live in your villa for a couple of days?"
