It had indeed been a long time since Scarlett had heard sweet words from Raymond.
Scarlett smiled, "Have you eaten yet?"
"Not yet."
Scarlett immediately reacted and raised her eyebrows, "Are you still working?"
"Yes, I am in a meeting."
At this time, Scarlett realized why it had taken Chris more than ten seconds to answer her phone.
"Then you go ahead with your meeting. I won't bother you." "Okay," He said "okay", but he didn't hang
up.
Scarlett snorted, "I’ll hang up."
"Okay."
When hearing what Chris had said, Scarlett hung up.
Chris looked down at "the call is over" on his cell phone and dialed another phone number instead of immediately going back to the meeting room.
Alexander saw the caller ID on his phone and thought he had misread it.
Raymond had been back to Bomsville for over a month. The most recent contact between the two of them was that
Raymond sent him an obituary when Chloe died a month ago.
Alexander simply asked his secretary to postpone the meeting for ten minutes and returned to his office with his cell phone," Ray, if you don't call me, I will fly to Bomsville to see if you have missed again?"
Raymond, who was on the other end of the phone, said directly, "I need you to help me with something."
"What?"
After a pause, Alexander said, "Besides, Scarlett knows about the ring. I think that ring’s meaning is extraordinary, and if you take..."
Before he could finish his words, Alexander heard Chris's voice become cold on the other end of the phone. "How did Scarlett know?"
Alexander felt a little embarrassed, and his hands trembled a little. He almost dropped his phone.
But he quickly realized that Raymond had lost his memory, and Raymond didn't know what had been going on.
"Didn’t you spill the beans yourself, did you?"
"Really?" "Yes."
"Well, that's all."
After finishing his words. Chris hung up the phone.
