Scarlett stopped Alexis and said, "Give me the car key."
Alexis was obedient to Scarlett sometimes. Alexis curled her lips. Although she felt unhappy, she still put the car key in Scarlett's hand.
Scarlett got the car key and said, "Get in the car."
She put her suitcase in the trunk. Then she sat on the driver's seat, got the car started with the key and drove out of the parking lot.
She picked up the motorway and watched the front as she asked, "What would you like for lunch?"
Alexis had chosen a restaurant already. She told Scarlett the restaurant's name. Scarlett snorted, "OK. You can take a nap first."
Alexis couldn't sleep but gossiped with Scarlett along the way.
Twenty minutes later, Scarlett drove out of the motorway and moved into the center of the city.
The traffic was heavy in the center of the city, so Scarlett slowed down.
The front light was red. Scarlett stopped the car. Alexis said suddenly, "Lettie, have a look. Is that Libby?"
Looking in the direction where Alexis looked at, Scarlett saw the scene of the rear -end collision and Libby being surrounded by three people.
The three people looked malicious.
Alexis also noticed that and said, "It seems that they will hit Libby. Should we call the police?"
Scarlett arched her eyebrows and said, " Call the police, Alexis."
At that time, the red light turned green. Scarlett got the car started, passed the junction and turned the corner.
Two minutes later, she stopped the car beside the road.
The woman shouted, "Don't talk nonsense! It was you who rear-ended us! Who do you think you are? You just have a luxury car. I'm shooting the video. Many netizens are watching you!"
Scarlett glanced at the woman and ignored her. She asked Libby, "Are you sure that they braked first?"
Libby nodded and glanced at them. Then she whispered in Scarlett's ear, "Darrell has a project recently. I think they..."
Libby was not as simple as before. Darrell had taught her a lot. At a glance, she noticed that the three people had an ulterior motive.
Scarlett understood Libby's meaning immediately. She patted Libby and said," Don’t worry."
Then Scarlett glanced at them and said," There are surveillance cameras. After the traffic policemen arrive, we will know whose fault it is. If it is our fault, we will compensate you for the loss."
"Of course, if it is your fault, you also need to compensate us."
