Alexis could not wait any longer in the car. If Scarlett had not returned, Alexis would have gotten off.
Just as Scarlett got into the car, she saw Alexis closing the door. She couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow and ask Alexis, "What are you going to do?"
Alexis smiled awkwardly and changed the subject. "Is it settled?"
"Yes."
Scarlett responded and glanced at Alexis with a half-smile.
Alexis felt embarrassed and hurriedly said, "I am starving. Lettie, let us go have dinner!" Scarlett laughed. She looked away from Alexis and slowly started the car.
After dinner, Justin came over to pick up Alexis and take her home.
Alexis's car was left to Scarlett, so Scarlett drove it back to her villa.
It was late at night. Scarlett stood on the balcony and watched the starry sky for a while before she turned around and walked back to her bedroom.
She wanted to call Chris, but he was too busy.
Scarlett became free after handing off Tenton to Chris, so she could spend more time doing boxing in the boxing gym.
The boxing gym had taken in a lot of new students six months ago. A young man had a crush on Scarlett at first sight. He then went to the boxing gym every day to wait for her.
After Alexis knew that, she was very curious about that young man and wanted to see if he was handsome. Scarlett rolled her eyes at Alexis. Alexis had to touch her belly and say, "Fine. Forget it."
Scarlett grunted. "What do you want to eat?"
Alexis handed her phone to Scarlett. Scarlett glanced at it. "Got it."
She responded and slowly started the car.
The car drove up. Alexis asked with a lollipop in her mouth, "It is your birthday next week. Lettie, do you feel like a birthday party this year?"
Scarlett could not help but tap her fingers on the steering wheel. She thought about it and lazily responded, "Not really." Chris was not around her, so she had no special desire for her birthday.
