Raymond had always been a generous boss. There were at least 2,000 employees in the head-quarter of Tenton. If he gave each one 520 dollars, it would be more than one million dollars in total.
Frank thought today was a good day.
"Okay, Mr. Shaw."
Frank went out with the two bags of candy and closed the door of the office thoughtfully before leaving.
Phillip was a little surprised to see Frank holding two big bags in his hands and asked, "Frank, are these Mr. Shaw's special gifts for you?"
Frank gave a rare smile and said, "No, it's candy. Mr. Shaw and Ms. Reed got married today. Please share the candy with everyone."
Hearing Frank's words, Phillip was stunned, and he did not come back to his senses until Frank patted him. He asked," Mr. Shaw and Ms. Reed got married?"
Frank raised his eyebrows and said, "Yes! Do you have any problem with it?"
"No! Don’t get me wrong. I'm just so happy to hear that."
Although Phillip had not worked in Tenton as long as Frank, he had also been here for nearly six years, so he knew a lot of things had happened to Raymond and Scarlett.
They had divorced and remarried.
Although Phillip was a bystander, he felt happy and a little emotional.
So did Frank. He liked Scarlett very much. When Scarlett and Raymond filed for divorce, he felt sorry. But he was an outsider, so he could not meddle in other people's family affairs.
Later, Scarlett and Raymond got back together. But when they was about to remarry, Raymond had suddenly gone missing for more than half a year.
Raymond and Scarlett had experienced a lot of difficulties. Frank was also happy and moved to hear that they had remarried.
Frank handed the candy to Phillip and said, "Hurry up."
Frank still needed to go to the finance department to ask them to give each employee 520 dollars as a bonus.
