Raymond probably noticed Scarlett’s gaze. He suddenly turned his head. Scarlett was caught off guard and met his dark eyes.
She had never felt so shy in her life. Her face, which was a little red from the steam, instantly flushed.
Scarlett was lying in the bathtub. Watching Raymond walk over step by step, she subconsciously sat up in the bathtub.
Raymond reached out and took her directly into his arms.
Scarlett moved slightly. Raymond bent down behind her and kissed her on the cheek. "What did Auntie say to you?"
Only a nominal aunt was left in Raymond's family now. At first, Scarlett thought he was mentioning his aunt. She then came to realize that he was talking about Viviana.
Scarlett gave him a look. "Grandpa wants to go to Chatbury City to visit my mom's grave."
"When?"
He said, giving Scarlett a kiss on the lips. He then added, "Shouldn't I go to visit my in -laws' graves too?"
His tender words made Scarlett's brain turn to mush.
More than an hour later, Scarlett was finally carried out of the bathroom by Raymond. After being put on the bed, she pulled away from him and wrapped herself in the quilt. She then turned her head to look askance at Raymond.
Her pretty eyes were so watery that Raymond only felt Scarlett was making eyes at him.
He raised his hand and stroked the hair around Scarlett's ear. "I'll get you some water."
"Okay."
Scarlett answered in a soft and lazy voice.
Raymond stared at Scarlett for a while before getting up and going downstairs to get some water.
Just as Scarlett finished getting dressed, Raymond came in with a glass of water.
