Chapter 11Don't Save His Face
###Chapter 11 Don't Save His Face
The Butterfly was one of the best restaurants in the capital.
After coming here yesterday, the company booked the whole restaurant.
"Mr. Stephen is so generous! It costs thousands of dollars to have a meal in the Butterfly yesterday. He even invited a whole company today! How generous he is!"
Pamela took a seat with Susan.
The two sat together without any restraint.
There were more than fifty tables in total, all of which were LC staff!
Looking around, there were many heads.
The leaders were all sitting in the first row. In LC, and even the leaders were arranged according to their ranks and working experiences.
Half an hour later, there was no sign of Martin.
In the huge hall, only the twittering sound could be heard, and all of them were about the man. Coincidentally, no one dared to make complaints and dissatisfaction in such a public place.
After a while, the general manager of LC came onto the stage again and said, "Mr. Stephen told everyone not to be hungry. Let's have dinner first and don't wait for Mr. Stephen!"
All the people present nodded with a smile.
But no one dared to be the first person to eat.
It was the first time for the boss to treat a meal, but the boss hadn't arrived yet. How dare they eat first?
For a moment, everyone was staring at the dishes on the round table.
"Is your ex husband too punctual? He was late for the first meal!"
Susan whispered to Pamela, "did he always be so late when you two dated before?"
Pamela felt embarrassed.
She had never dated this man.
At least, he had never taken the initiative to date her.
She and Susan had known each other since they were in the United States. They were good friends. When Susan asked Anthony's father at the beginning, Pamela told her everything, so she knew the embarrassing relationship between her and Martin.
"Mr. Stephen is coming!"
All of a sudden, someone rushed to the door and reported the news.
As soon as he said, the banquet hall, which had been lively just now, was now very quiet as if the crowd had dispersed!
No one dared to say a word. They all sat upright and greeted the big boss with a smile.
A minute later, as expected, several bodyguards in black appeared at the entrance of the banquet hall, and then a familiar figure appeared.
Wearing a gray suit and trousers, he was tall and well dressed. Compared with his previous black clothes, he didn't look so fierce, but he still had a sense of superiority as a businessman, which could not be ignored.
Pamela followed the crowd's gaze to the gate.
