Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love novel Chapter 128

At that moment, Charles felt chill down his spine as he heard that Nancy had left her old apartment.

"Where did she move?" he asked anxiously with a hint of desperation in his voice.

But the woman merely glanced at him in disdain and replied, "I have no idea."

Annoyed at the woman's response, Charles took out his phone and dialed the man he could always rely on. "Jay, help me investigate where Nancy has moved to," he straightly said without even greeting first.

"There is no need to investigate. I have heard from Doris that Nancy has moved to her apartment," Jay answered casually from the other line. After a short pause, he then asked, "Charles, are you going to see her now?"

"Yes." The grim in Charles' face was so evident.

"Hey, Doris warned me not to tell you, and if she knew I did, she would kill me. So, don't—"

But, before Jay could even finish his words, Charles had already cut the line.

The former was left shaking his head while feeling a pang of remorse. It took him some time to get along with Doris and finally make her his woman. If Charles barged in there right now, she'd probably know it was him who told that man. And with her feisty nature, Doris would definitely not let him go.

He didn't want to break up with her because of this. After all, it had completely nothing to do with their relationship.

So, in his attempt to save himself, Jay called her immediately, and equivocatingly admitted, "I'm sorry, Doris. I accidentally told Charles her whereabouts. Maybe you can tell Nancy to hide instead?"

"What?! Are you crazy? How could you tell him Nancy's address?! I won't go to see your parents!"

"No! Look, I'm sorry!"

With Sarah's help, his parents had finally agreed to meet Doris. If Doris didn't come, he would feel so guilty and ashamed in front of his family.

Before Jay could even persuade her, Doris had already hung up the phone.

At this time, Charles had driven to where Nancy was.

Doris lived on the fifth floor, while Nancy lived on the fourth floor.

After parking the car, he went up to the fourth floor directly, ascending the stairs urgently as if it was an emergency.

Then, with a heavy breath, he knocked on the door.

"Who is it?"

The moment he heard that soft familiar voice, warmth immediately wrapped his heart, and he couldn't help but slightly tremble.

Nancy had thought that Charles would eventually come to find her, but she didn't expect that it would be this soon.

And because she didn't hear any response, Nancy automatically knew it was Charles who was at the door.

So, heaving a deep sigh, she walked towards it and opened the door.

As soon as she twitched the knob open, Charles aggressively pushed the wooden door and barged inside—much to Nancy's surprise.

"Doris!!!" Nancy yelled, hoping her friend would hear and come to her aid. She moved into this building so that she could get rid of Charles and have a friend to her side. And judging from how he quickly found her, Nancy thought that it wasn't the best idea she had.

Even when Doris was just upstairs, Nancy felt helpless as Charles locked the door from the inside.

But Nadia and Doris still heard her shout, so the two hurriedly ran downstairs and knocked on the door.

"Nancy, open the door!"

"Mommy, open the door!" the young girl shouted anxiously, thinking that her mother was in trouble.

Meanwhile, inside the apartment...

Charles pushed her against the wall, kissing her long and hard on the lips.

Knowing that Doris and Nadia were outside, Nancy refrained herself from moaning or even making a sound.

As she was pressed against the wall while her hands were pulled up, her delicate face flushed.

She tried to push him away, but her strength was nothing compared to his brawny arms. Instead, Charles kissed her harder, forcing her mouth open to make way for his tongue.

"Nancy, open the fucking door!" Doris cursed nervously, forcing her hand on the knob and trying hard to open it.

"Mommy, open the door!" Even Nadia sounded desperate too.

Since Jay had called Doris earlier, the latter figured that Charles must have been in the building; that was why Nancy yelled her name.

'If that was the case, and they were both locked inside... ' As she thought of that, Doris stared at Nadia with a glint of surprise.
