Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love novel Chapter 131

Having heard what she said, Bobby nodded and acquiesced with a heavy heart, "Yes."

Nancy kissed Bobby's little face, full of motherly love, and stood up. "Your daddy's here now. You should go with him,"

she told Bobby while pointing to where Charles was.

"Mommy, can you please come home with us?" Bobby begged pitifully, all the while looking at Nancy with big pleading eyes.

"I’m sorry, Bobby. Mommy can't go with you because I have something else to do. You should go home with your daddy now." As much as Nancy would like to maintain a calm appearance, she could not keep her emotions in check. With a trembling voice, she said, "Let's go, Nadia."

"See you again tomorrow, Bobby," Nadia said while waving her little hand as she bid Bobby goodbye.

Nancy held on to Nadia's hand to give her strength and left

"Daddy..." Bobby hollered as he ran towards his father. He grabbed his hand and shook it. Charles looked a bit lost.

Charles was startled. After regaining his composure, he said absentmindedly, "Huh? What is it?"

"Mommy has already left with Nadia. Should we go after them?" asked Bobby anxiously.

"No, Daddy's a little tired. We should go home now."

"Okay, if you say so."

In reality, Charles wasn't tired at all. He was just too annoyed with himself and the situation they were in.

As much as he loved Nancy, he couldn't keep her by his side.

At the moment, he just wanted to drown his sorrows in alcohol.

After sending Bobby home, he immediately called Jay up.

"Jay, I want to go to a bar. Meet me at Breeze Bar."

Hearing this, Jay could do nothing but scratch his head in exasperation. Doris was supposed to meet his parents tonight, but she had cold feet at the last minute and chickened out. All of a sudden, she didn't want to go. With nothing else to do, he planned to go out on a date with her.

So instead of meeting his parents, he wanted to invite her to watch a movie. He heard that a romantic movie was showing.

If Doris got immersed in the exciting movie scene, he was hoping she might be touched and throw herself into his arms.

"Be here in twenty minutes," said Charles in his usual domineering attitude.

Jay hesitated, but before he could even think of an alibi, Charles had already ended the call.

Jay couldn't let Charles go to a bar on his own. He would have to take a rain check on his planned movie night with Doris.

When he arrived at the bar, Charles was already there.

Several bottles of whisky and Remy Martin, all hard liquor, were already laid on the table.

"Charles, are you trying to get yourself drunk? How about we have some red wine instead of these hard drinks?" Looking at the empty bottles on the table, Jay was a little scared by how much alcohol Jay had already drunk.

"Real men don't drink red wine! If you are a real man, drink this!" Charles said while opening a bottle of whisky.

Jay winced a little bit.

As much as he tried, he wouldn't be able to hold his alcohol on the face of such hard liquors.

"Charles, I'll stick with the red wine, and you drink the hard alcohol, okay?" Jay tried to negotiate with Charles, all the while thinking of a way out.

Without further ado, Charles poured two glasses of hard alcoholic drinks and passed it on to Jay.

Jay had no choice but to drink against his will.

Knowing that he couldn't refuse, he ordered some more dishes and desserts.

However, he had a low tolerance for alcohol that day. After just two glasses, he was totally drunk.

Beside him, Charles was even more drunk.

Intoxicated, he leaned on the sofa and asked, "Do you know what all women think of every day, Jay?

"The poor girls want to have plenty of money, while the women without boyfriends are in search of men..." Jay giggled in jest.

"Since Nancy has no boyfriend, who do you think she is thinking about? Who does she have in her heart?" With these thoughts, Charles' mood became more gloomy. He took another bottle and resumed drinking.

"You should stop drinking. It's bad for your health. You'll die young if you continue drinking like this." Concerned, Jay reached out his hand and took the bottle from Charles' hand.

But he lost his grip on the bottle and it fell with a loud bang. Wine spilled out and their bodies were both sprinkled with it.

"Hahaha... "Unbelievable! Look at you, Charles. You are really drunk. Hahaha..." laughed Jay mockingly.

"No, I'm not drunk! You are!" Charles refuted and tried to reach for the bottle again.

"Stop, you already had more than enough. You can't drink anymore." Jay looked around and ordered, "Waiter, clean this up and take the alcoholic drinks away"
