Charles clamped both hands on Dorothy's arm and demanded. He sounded so desperate.

Then he pulled her closer and kissed on her lips.

On most occasions, Doris went to the kindergarten to pick up Nadia.

Doris greeted him actively, "Mr. Fu, are you here to pick up Bobby?"

Doris was clueless. She knew Charles was a cold and straightforward person, but couldn't he just say one more word? He wouldn't lose anything by doing that, right?

It would be fine even if he asked about Nancy. In fact, Doris would love to talk about her.

But he didn't say anything. He remained detached and unconcerned.

It seemed as if he had completely forgotten Nancy.

But don't be so naive to think that everyone in the world would be like you, especially a man like Charles who is so used to giving orders to others. He's not going to tell you everything directly, you should guess some of them."

"Damn it! I have been very tired of working every day. How can I have the time to read his mind? Well, he can say it to me clearly if he has something to say. And if he doesn't have anything to say, just forget it. It's tiring!" As she spoke, she took a sip of her cocktail.
