Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love novel Chapter 147

Nancy rang President Hobart up and asked for a leave. Then, she looked at Charles and asked, "Where are we going?"

"Can't you have a date with me?" Charles said angrily.

He was actually teasing her. He didn't understand why she laughed so happily with another man but looked so unpleasant when she was with him. He was actually possessive about her, wanting her with him, and always within reach.

But why did she behave so indifferently?

Did she really have no feelings for him?

Even so, he really loved her so much.

When he came to know that she had a blind date with others, he was so jealous that he lost his cool and almost went crazy. He even felt like he wanted to destroy the whole world.

But whenever she faced him, she would remain so calm and collected, as if nothing had happened.

How could she do this!

"We are not a couple. What date are you talking about?" Nancy gazed at him with an indifferent expression.

Without saying another word, he opened the car door.

He said in a commanding tone, "Get into the car. I want to take you to a place." "Where are we going?" Nancy asked curiously.

"You don't have to ask. You will know it later," Charles said. The fact was that, he didn't want to tell her where they were going for the moment. If she knew she would attend Landon's birthday party, she would definitely not go.

Then he drove straight to an evening dress store. When they arrived at the store, he asked the store manager to bring the dress that he had ordered for Nancy.

He wanted to let Nancy try it on.

"Mr. Fu, this is the size you gave me before. It must be very suitable for this lady. You said we should prepare a set every week, so we have prepared a dozen sets for this lady. She is indeed so lucky to be with you," the manager said with admiration.

The manager gave an envious and jealous look at Nancy.

Nancy was shocked to hear the manager's words. She didn't expect that Charles had prepared so many dresses for her in this evening dress store.

"Don't make them anymore for me. I don't want to wear them," Nancy said indifferently.

"Well, this dress is prepared for you, and you don't have to pay for it. Just try it on," the manager said politely. However, at the same time, her envious mind wanted to scold her. 'This lady really doesn't know how to enjoy it. If I were you, I would be so happy,' she thought. Then the store manager offered a blue and gray V-neck dress to Nancy.

After Nancy tried it, the manager said exaggeratedly, "Wow! This evening dress fits you very well. Miss Ning must be able to attract everyone's attention at the banquet."

Her words were so compelling and gracious that Nancy had to express her gratitude to the manager.

The manager asked the make-up artist to touch up her hair and face. He put on a light make-up and prepared a pair of white leather shoes for her.

"She's beautiful. She's pretty. I've never seen such a gorgeous lady!" the manager praised.

"Yes, in my eyes, Nancy is the most beautiful woman in the world." Without any modesty, Charles looked at her affectionately.

"It's the most beautiful love words in the world. Mr. Fu, you're really good at pleasing girls," the manager said with a smile.

To be honest, Nancy felt embarrassed.

She tugged her dress and asked, "Charles, now tell me. Where are you taking me?"

A moment later, Charles held her hand and walked out of the store. Then he opened the door for her and let her get into the car.

He still didn't tell her where they were going,

until they arrived at the door of the villa of the Fang family.

Suddenly, Nancy realized where she was.

"If I'm not mistaken, this is Jay's house," Nancy supposed.

"Yes, you're right. Today is Mr. Landon's 80th birthday party. And I'm glad that you are my date," said Charles.

"But, Dorothy will come, right?" A wry smile emerged on the corner of her mouth.

"Not just Dorothy, almost everyone in our family will be here today," Charles said excitedly.
