down and sprayed it on Nancy's foot.

Nancy gasped incessantly. The pain made her eyes moist.

"Mommy, hold on. You'll be fine after a while," Nadia said, grabbing Nancy's hand.

Seeing the children's worried faces, Nancy felt sad.

She changed the topic quickly. "Kids, something good happened today. Doris is pregnant. A baby is living in her belly."

"Mommy, when can you have a baby in your belly?" Nadia asked, tilting her head to one side.
