Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love novel Chapter 253

"Daddy, don't you just love popstars?" Nadia said with awe.

"Get in the car. I will show you something," Charles said.

"Okay, Daddy!" Nadia's excitement grew exponentially. "Daddy, will you take us to a concert?"

"No..." Charles said coyly.

"Okay..." Nadia pouted. She was unhappy to learn that she would not be seeing a concert.

Charles opened the backseat for the children. Nancy, on the other hand, took the passenger seat. As soon as Charles sat at the driver's seat, Nancy whispered, "Where are we taking the children?"

"We'll go to the Museum of History," Charles whispered back.

"Oh, that's a great idea! I just thought..." Nancy pinched her eyebrows as she leaned against the Charles' seat. She wanted to say something but opted to stop her thought.

"People don't really seem to care about history nowadays... They would rather have children gushing over stars, rather than actually teaching them how the world came into order. We have to give our kids something meaningful to look into. For now, let us take a trip to the Museum of History. We have lots of other days to give the children some entertainment. I want them to realize that ordinary people are just as important as stars. Singing, or even acting, is a fun profession, but they must realize that there are more noble things in the world—like history and science."

Charles had made a good point.

Nancy gave Charles a thumbs up in agreement.

Whenever she was with Charles and the children, Nancy forgot all the drama in the hospital.

"Mommy, what's in a museum?" Nadia asked curiously.

"Ancient books, antiques, sculptures, and even paintings!" Nancy answered. She tried her best to lift the little girl's spirits.

Nadia responded with a frown. The girl didn't seem to like anything she just had heard.

"Antiques are very precious, little girl. Many of them hold history that happened thousands of years ago. Those things allow us to understand people and how our world developed over the years! Isn't that amazing?" Nancy said excitedly—in the hopes that it would get the children excited as well.

"Wow! Cultural relics thousands of years ago?" It seemed like Bobby was really interested to learn more about antiques, especially compared to the little girl.

"Yes!" Nancy nodded enthusiastically.

"Well, I look forward to seeing them!" Bobby said as he nodded.

"I'm looking forward to them too!" Charles and Nancy said almost simultaneously.

Finally, they reached the Museum of History.

The family had stayed up until the museum's closing time.

To Nancy's surprise, both kids had a really good time. They even kept on asking about antiques in display.

Both Nancy and Charles were certain that they had brought the children to the right place. They knew that the children would inevitably be exposed to various things as they grew. And it was their job as parents to guide their children towards more meaningful things.

On their way back, there was something that piqued Nancy's curiosity as she watched Charles and the children. 'Should I marry this man once and for all?' she dearly thought to herself.

After all, they had already announced their relationship to the public-let alone raise two children together. It seemed as if marriage was the only thing left to do in order to really seal the deal.

"Daddy, there's a burger shop over there! Can we go there and eat burgers?" Nadia was famished from their trip. She bit her finger at the thought of having a burger.

"Nadia, I think we'd be better off with less fast food. Besides, home-cooked meals are really more nutritious! So I think we should wait to get home, and then eat there." Charles used to take Nadia out for burgers whenever the little girl wanted to.

However, after that trip, Charles realized that he couldn't really indulge every single thing the children asked for. He simply wanted them to form good habits in every aspect.
