Joseph rolled his eyes before he flashed a flattering smile. "Brother, I'm telling you, I don't have any bad intentions at all. I just want the glory of the TS Group to last forever. It's our pride, isn't it?"
Before turning to the bathroom, Charles cast him a scornful glance.
"Joseph, the TS Group has nothing to do with you. As for the company's future, it depends on me, so you don't need to worry about it. Please tell your father not to bribe the shareholders behind my back. If he does too many bad things, he will have nightmares in his sleep."
When Joseph saw the cold expression on Charles' face, he had turned inexplicably nervous. He was too scared to refute him, so he just agreed, "Oh, I will."
As expected, there was another sneer from Charles.
Regretting his cowardice, he slapped himself. "Joseph, you are such a coward!"
Charles turned around and said, "Good job! You'd better leave as soon as possible. Don't be an eyesore here. You don't have the guts to fight with me, and your father has no chance of winning against me. Don't embarrass yourselves. If one day we break up with each other, it's you who will be embarrassed, not me!"
For whatever reason, Joseph had always been afraid of Charles since they were young.
He didn't want to, but he couldn't control himself.
Therefore, when he stared at Charles' fierce eyes, he wanted to escape. But his legs were too weak to move.
He grinned at Charles and said, "We are brothers. How can we break up so easily?"
Instead of answering him, Charles just turned away and closed the bathroom door.
Because his legs were trembling, Joseph had to hold something for support. He wiped the sweat on his forehead and told himself, "Charles is very handsome, but his eyes were cold.
It makes him look scary!" Then he swallowed.
At this time, he heard the laughter which came from Frederic's room.
The fear he felt had been replaced by frustration. He wanted to please his grandpa, but unexpectedly, his plan was ruined by the two children. What was worse was that, he didn't get what he wanted and he was even blamed by his grandpa.
Since no one paid attention to him, Joseph felt inevitably lonely. Without saying goodbye to his grandpa, he lazily walked into the yard and drove away with his car.
Meanwhile, in the courtyard of Derrick's villa, several shareholders were having a buffet.
They were all laughing together with the socialites and beautiful women.
It was so noisy, unlike in the Fu's residence.
Completely annoyed, Joseph deliberately slammed on the brake. A sharp sound cut through the night sky.
The people who were talking suddenly stopped.
With furrowed brows, Joseph got out of the car and slammed the door.
Slowly, he walked towards the crowd.
Embarrassed by his action, Derrick scolded him, "Joseph, how dare you drive so arrogantly?"
"It doesn't matter. Joseph just has a strong attitude," several shareholders said with an awkward smile.
Ignoring his father's lecture, Joseph replied, "Well, attitude? Yeah, right."
