Chapter 281 The Kane Family of Dhord City
Willow had just entered the villa when an SUV drove in.
“Caspian, you’re finally back! Everyone missed you!” Macy winked at Caspian as she said.
“Don’t joke around!” Caspian frowned and said coldly.
He then entered the SUV.
“What’s with the outburst?” Macy asked.
She was only joking around with Caspian. After all, he was still the Diatoran God of War. She would not dare to go too far with her jokes.
Macy brought Caspian to a café.
Both of them took a seat.
“How’s everything going?” Caspian asked.
“It’s done. Billy managed to escape, but the rest were completely obliterated,” Macy replied with a nod.
“Well done. I’ll make sure that Southlake City becomes a safer place in the future. We must not let anyone like Billy come in and wreak havoc,” Caspian said to Macy as he looked at her.
Macy nodded and replied, “Yes, sir!”
Macy fully obliged Caspian’s wishes. The fact that she could stay in Southlake City for such a long time was because of Caspian.
If he had sent her back to South Aridlands, she might have died from boredom by now. Being in Southlake City meant she had things to do.
It was at this moment that a car pulled up in front of the café.
Sylvia got out of her car hastily and walked into the café.
After finishing up the task in Naporia, Sylvia took the first flight back to Southlake City.
Although she was a general officer, she wanted to be more respectful in front of Caspian.
“We’ve successfully eradicated the Four Noble Lineages as instructed. Melvin of Celestial Sanctum no longer dares to return to Easton,” Sylvia said.
“Well done. There are many forces in Naporia anyway. Melvin wouldn’t dare to act rashly. Both of you have done a great job this time around,” Caspian nodded and said.
“Thank you, Caspian!” Sylvia and Macy said simultaneously.

“By the way, I’ve been busy for too long. I need a rest. I’d like the both of you to handle whatever that comes up in Southlake City,” Caspian said.
He then rose from his seat and was prepared to leave.
“Yes, Caspian!” Sylvia and Macy replied.
They had become accustomed to serving Caspian as he needed.
Caspian was their role model.
Meanwhile, at York Residence, Celestia was having a breakdown.
“Dad! When do you plan on avenging me? My face has been ruined by Caspian! Nobody will want me anymore. I don’t want to live anymore!” Celestia cried as she covered her face with her hands. She had a veil on her face.
She had been depressed after returning from Southlake City:
She had vowed to make Caspian pay for what he had done to her.
Nobody expected that Caspian would be so powerful. Not only did he kill the strongest person in the York family, but he even disfigured Celestia’s face.
She had sought the finest doctor in Dhord City, but her face was now covered in scars. She no longer dared to let others see her bare face.
How could Wendell just sit there without an ounce of anger in him?
However, now that Ivan had been killed, the York family had lost their greatest support.
They failed to obtain the resources in Southlake City as well.
The York family was in a precarious position now. They were already considered the more
fortunate ones.
Wendell could only lament upon seeing his dispirited daughter.
“My daughter! I wish I could avenge you too, but Caspian’s much too mysterious. Haven’t heard about the recent incident? Caspian went to Naporia and destroyed Galecrest. Do you think we’re any greater than Galecrest?” Wendell sighed.
“What?
Celestia was utterly shocked.
