Chapter 299 A Madman Who Has Lost His Mind

Caspian’s eyes were alight with rage. His voice held so much power that other people shivered when he spoke.

He made his way toward Billy. Water splashed with every step he took.

The special forces soldiers looked at him respectfully as he walked past.

Tears streamed down Willow’s face as Caspian appeared. All the fear in her heart was gone as she called out loud.

Caspian looked in her direction, and his murderous intent rose.

His precious wife, pampered and loved by him, was tied to a chair. Also, he could clearly see a wound on Willow’s arm, and her clothes were stained with blood.

It didn’t look that severe only because the rain had washed all the blood off.

“Sorry for being late, Willow. My carelessness is the reason you had to suffer.”

Caspian felt unbearably guilty. Willow wouldn’t have been kidnapped had he not dozed off on

the bench.

Willow, who had not gone through any suffering before, ended up being hurt like this.

Caspian had promised never to make Willow feel upset. If he could not even protect the woman he loved, what was the point of being the Lord of Diadem Hall?

“You bastard! How dare you hurt Willow?” Caspian glared at Billy coldly.

Kristian’s heart was filled with terror. He stumbled and knelt on the floor.

“Caspian, listen to me. I’m not involved in this at all. Everything was Billy’s idea. He’s behind everything!” Kristian said to Caspian in trepidation.

Caspian was still glaring at Billy, his eyes alight with rage.

Billy shuddered. Caspian’s glare was way too terrifying.

“Was it you? The one who cut a wound on her arm,” Caspian asked coldly.

Billy swallowed. He noticed that all the bodyguards and fighters had surrendered, and now he

was at a loss for what to do.

The atmosphere became more charged.

“Hahaha! It was me, so what? I cut her with a knife! You killed my father, so I want to avenge

He no longer was able to tamp down the rage burning in his heart.
