“Dad, why are you stopping me?” Jessica asked. “We lost so many of our businesses because he’s such a loser!”

Too furious to process the situation, Jessica shoved all the blame onto Kevin.

Saul didn’t reply. He knew Jessica wouldn’t understand even if he explained himself.

“You, Eric? Without the Masseys giving you orders, would a hooligan like you dare to do those things? Are you saying this because you want to be their scapegoat?

“Do you know what the consequences are? You might be spending the rest of your life in prison!” Caspian said with a derisive chuckle.

“Don’t bother asking any more questions. I did it all myself. Do whatever you want to me,” Eric said with great difficulty.

He didn’t want to hear what Caspian had to say anymore. The sooner he was handed over to the authorities, the sooner his wife and family would be out of harm’s way.
