Chapter 383 Returning With an Empty Hand
Caspian pushed Jyn away at once.
“Caspian, I…
Jyn seemed to be shocked by her own actions as well.
Noticing that Caspian was leaving, she had only thought about having him stay.
Caspian explained, “Jyn, I’m only saying this one last time. I’m already married, so please respect me and yourself. What if Willow sees this? How am I supposed to explain to her? Besides, it’s not good for your image if it gets out to the public.”
Caspian couldn’t believe that Jyn would kiss him out in public.
It would be troublesome if Willow learned about this.
Jyn had assumed that Caspian hated the kiss for being too impulsive, but to her surprise, it was only because he was worried about Willow’s feelings.
The realization made her furious.
“I’ve already gone to Southlake Corporation and met Willow earlier. She isn’t as beautiful as I am, and her figure isn’t as great as mine. She’s not worthy enough to be your wife; I am! Divorce her already, Caspian,” shouted Jyn.
Caspian frowned as his expression sank. “What? You’ve already met with Willow?”
He stared daggers into Jyn, as if he wanted to eat her alive.
Jyn was startled when she saw Caspian’s gaze.
“…”
She was at a loss for words as she was terrified by Caspian’s sudden shift in emotion..
She could tell that Caspian was genuinely angry.
“Protect Ms. Morrison!”
Ginger noticed Caspian’s anger and shouted for help.
She was surprised that Caspian could scare someone with just his gaze alone.
She felt that it was necessary to teach him a lesson for disrespecting Jyn.
Dozens of bodyguards soon rushed over.
“Get lost!” shouted Caspian.

The bodyguards were all terrified by the shout and stood frozen in place.
Ginger decided to take the matter into her own hands and rushed forward.
“You bastard! You dare to bully Ms. Morrison?”
She began to punch and kick Caspian.
Caspian was visibly annoyed by the blows.
A crisp sound rang out as Caspian raised his hand to slap her.
Ginger was stunned as she felt that she had been immensely disrespected by Caspian.
“You good–for–nothing! You dare hit me?” shouted Ginger.
She raised her hands once more and rushed toward Caspian.
Caspian’s expression sank as he realized that Ginger was coming back for more.
He slapped her once more without any hesitation.
But this time, he didn’t hold back
Ginger was knocked to the ground as a result.
She looked back at Caspian with resentment as she had never experienced being disrespected like so throughout her life.
Ginger was treated with nothing but respect ever since she became Jyn’s secretary.
Even the young heirs of powerful families would treat her like one of their own.
She eventually grew arrogant and no longer treated other men below her with decency like she used to.
But now,
she was just slapped by a lowly matrilocal son–in–law.
Ginger was furious, but she didn’t dare to say much about it.
She was afraid that Caspian might slap her again if she tried to voice her opinion.
Caspian glanced at her once more before deciding to ignore her.
Meanwhile, Jyn was still frozen in place.
“Stop messing around, lyn. You can look for me if you need anything, but never bother Willow, get it? Willow is my wife! I’m letting you
Jyn then turned toward the bodyguards. “Get lost, all of you! you’re useless!”
