"I'll ask her now." Melinda was planning to call Willow up to ask about the situation.
Alicia was in a coma for a long time due to excessive bleeding. When she woke up, she was in a state of confusion.
When she became more sober, she suddenly recalled the incident where Henry was taken away.
She was about to tell the Stewart family about this matter when Melinda called.
"Mom! Something happened!" Alicia shouted.
"What's the matter, Alicia? What happened? Aren't you safe now?" Melinda asked, confused.
"Caspian took Henry away!" Alicia said urgently.
"What? Why did he take Henry away?" Melinda asked in shock.
"Henry… " Alicia did not know how to continue.
She was afraid that her family would not be able to accept it if she were to reveal Henry's defection.
"Say it now! You're killing me here!" Melinda prodded.
"Mom, I'm going to need you to find something to hold on to in case you fall down," Alicia said.
"Hurry up and just say it already." Melinda was even more anxious.
"Henry had defected." Alicia knew very well that she would not be able to keep it to herself for long. The Stewart family would find out sooner or later.
Hearing this, Melinda was stunned.
"What? How could Henry suddenly become a defector?" Melinda asked in disbelief.
In her mind, Henry would never do such a thing.
"Mom, Henry and the Hudson family colluded and joined sides with the Vadesians. That's why they were arrested by Caspian," Alicia said.
"Didn't Henry go to the Hudson residence to look for you? So how did he defect?" Melinda asked, puzzled.
"He was just saying that. The reason he came over was to join hands with the Hudson family to commit treason!" Alicia said.
"No! No! Henry wouldn't do something like this. Logically speaking, the enemy's soldiers wouldn't beat him up if he had defected." Melinda was becoming increasingly confused about everything.
"This isn't something that can be explained in a word or two. Anyway, it's a fact that Henry had defected. Caspian had planned to execute him and the Hudson family by firing squad!" Alicia said in a panic.
Hearing this, Melinda was so shocked to her core. She asked in fear, "Please don't scare me, Alicia. I'm going to ask you again. Is everything you said true?"
"Why would I lie about this? Let's all come up with a way to save Henry. If we don't hurry, Henry might die," Alicia urged.
"Okay. I will discuss it with your father immediately." Melinda no longer doubted Alicia's words.
It seemed like Henry was really in danger.
Melinda hung up the phone. She was just standing there, dazed.
The Stewart family also knew that Melinda was on the phone with Alicia. They wanted to know what the two were talking about.
"Melinda, what happened? What did you talk about with Alicia?" Donald prodded.
"Alicia said that Henry had been arrested by Caspian," Melinda said.
"What? Didn't he save Henry and Alicia? Why did he arrest Henry?" Donald asked.
"What on earth happened? You'd better explain! You're making me anxious!" Marilyn asked, feeling somewhat unsettled.
"Henry and the Hudson family defected, so Caspian had them arrested," Melinda said.
All the Stewart family members were stunned.
