The Omega Mated To The Four novel Chapter 184

I woke up to the faint glow of down tweaking through the trees. The forest was quiet, the air crisp and cold against my skin. I took mnment to stretch, feeling my misiscles ache from yesterday’s battle. The memory of the Umbrakins and the chaos at the pack ́n territory still clung to me like a shadow. I couldn’t shake the guilt that clawed at my chest every time I thought of the park members who hadn’t made it.

But we had to get going. The sooner we got to our town, the better. We needed to get to that free we used as a portal last time,

Isaiah stirred next to me, his eyes fluttering open. He glanced at me and gave a small, reassuring smile. I forced one back, but it didn’t quite reach my eyes. I gave him a nod. We’ll be leaving soon. Thank you for letting us stay the night.

He just nodded, his gaze distant as he walked back to the remaining pack members, preparing to mourn their elder. I took a deep breath, trying to shake off the heavy feeling before I went back to my mates.

Isaiah was already on his feet, stretching his arms above his head. Everything okay?he asked, sensing my mood.

Yeah,I lied. We should get moving. We can’t stay here. It’s not sale for the wolves here or us

Austik finally managed to haul Alex to his feet, and they grumbled about how early it was, but neither of them argued. We p up what little we had,by the time we stepped out of the tent the sun had began to rise.
