The Omega Mated To The Four novel Chapter 21

The Omega: Mated To The Four

Chapter Twenty One

I woke up to the soft rustle of leaves brushing against the window and sunlight pouring through the curtains. For a brief moment, { let myself enjoy the peaceful stillness, but it didn’t last long. Something outside my window caught my attention a splash of code that hadn’t been there before.

When I stepped out onto the porch, I froze. A brandnew bike, sleek and shiny, sat waiting for me. Its bright paint gleamed in the sunlight, and ribbons adorned the handlebars, swaying slightly in the breeze.

I didn’t need to guess who had left it.

My jaw clenched as irritation bubbled inside me. Did they really think this would fix anything? That they could buy their way out of the years of torment? The nerve of them.

Without another thought, I marched back inside to grab my shoes and jacket. If they thought I’d accept this, they were dead wrong.

The ride to the pack house was short, but every turn of the pedals, fueled my frustration. By the time I arrived, I was practically vibrating with anger.

I parked the bike by the front steps and stomped up to the door. A few pack members milling around stopped to watch me, clearly sensing my mood.

Elijah!I yelled, my voice echoing through the grand halls as I stepped inside.

It didn’t take long for him to appear. Elijah sauntered down the staircase, shirtless as always, with that infuriating smirk plastered on his face. He looked like he didn’t have a care in the world.

What’s wrong, carrot head?he asked, leaning casually against the banister.

I shoved the bike toward him. Take it back. I don’t want it.

His smirk faltered for a second, replaced by a flicker of confusion. You don’t like it?

No, I don’t like it,I snapped. And I don’t want anything from you or your friends. Stop trying to bribe me with gifts.

Stormi, it’s not a bribe,he said, stepping closer. It’s just a bike. You needed one, so we got you one.

I don’t need anything from you,I shot back, my voice rising. And definitely don’t need you playing the good guy all of a

sudden.

I turned to leave, but before I could take more than a few steps, he grabbed my arm.

Wait-

I yanked my arm away, slapping his hand in the process. Don’t touch me!

But Elijah didn’t back down. Instead, he reached out again, his grip firm but not painful. His intense amber eyes locked onto mine, and before I could react, he leaned down and kissed me. It wasn’t soft or sweet. It was rough, demanding, and completely unexpected. For a moment, I froze, my mind struggling to process what was happening.

Then the anger kicked in.

I shoved him back with all my strength, breathing hard as I stared at him in disbelief. How dare you?I yelled, jabbing my finger into his chest.

He chuckled, running a hand through his dark hair. You’re so stubborn, carrot head.

Don’t call me that!I snapped, my cheeks burning.

His smirk widened. What? You don’t like it?

I don’t like anything about you,I shot back.

Sure you don’t,he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

I opened my mouth to retort, but no words came out. My mind was ill reeling from the kiss, and the smug look on his face wasn’t helping.

You’re insufferable,I muttered, turning on my heel and storming out the door.

The walk back to the cabin was a blur. My thoughts were a whirlwind of emotionsanger, confusion, and something else I didn’t

want to name.

How dare he kiss me? How dare he act like he had any right to touch me, let alone kiss me?

But no matter how much I tried to focus on my anger, I couldn’t stop thinking about the way his lips had felt against mine. The heat, the intensity, the way my wolf had stirred inside me, her excitement undeniable.
