Move into the Palace where Gwen and Rolf are. 

Rolf stood beside the window looking out into the forest, thinking about all that had happened and about his little princess. 

Fear of everything actually gnawed at his heart, fear of the uncertainty or things that his little daughter would face, after all demons were not enemies that could be ignored or dismissed, they were very cunning and evil, even though he knew that her mate, Astaroth would definitely protect her, but still as a father who had been protecting her, having to leave that task to her mate was not an easy thing. 

“She’s only 16, little girl” Rolf whispered and made his mate who was there let out a long sigh, yes, Rolf knew that Gwen was actually worried but as a woman, she could be more accepting of this.

He heard his mate’s reply before making him turn around to walk towards her and sit beside her on the cosy sofa in his study. 

Pulling the body of the woman he loved so much into his arms, he gave her a warm peck on the forehead before inhaling the body scent that always calmed him down. 

“If I had known that she was going to find a mate at such a young age, I would have done more with her” Rolf grumbled and this time felt a vibration of laughter from his mate. 

“Knowing that other men are touching our little princess is annoying, isn’t it?” Gwen commented as she teased him and smiled wider at the sight of him scowling before resting his head in her neck and tightening his embrace. 

“My wolf is also saddened to learn that our pup has turned deciduous and may leave with his – mate from our protective arms.” Rolf continued and made Gwen nod her head. 

They knew having a mate meant the life of the girl, their little princess belonged to the mate, especially if they had done the sacred thing and accepted each other, not even the Moon Goddess had the right to separate them, except for death which could result in the death of the couple left behind. 

“But I am glad that Astaroth is brave enough to accept his destiny as the mate of Iris, it is not an easy thing, considering we know how he has no knowledge about this mate thing” Rolf could only heave a long breath at Gwen’s words, because his mate was right, for a creature who was never taught about pity or compassion for other creatures or people, Astaroth was brave enough to accept what was destined for him. 

Signalling that he actually has a heart and kindness that neither he nor anyone else realises. 

“Yeah, but it still won’t be easy” Rolf commented and Gwen just chuckled in amusement.

Who would have ever thought that a werewolf and a demon could be mates, well… If this didn’t happen before my eyes, I’d say it’s impossible. 

“So…” Rolf tightened his embrace and made Gwen, his mate, raise an eyebrow while looking at him.

Rolf gave a seductive smile before pecking his mate’s lips. 

“What?” She giggled, feeling suspicious of her mate’s plan. 

“How about we have another child then?” He whispered and made his mate laugh out loud before pushing his body away slowly but Rolf was serious and continued to flirt with her as he tightened his arms around her, not wanting to let go.

Without listening to his mate’s complaints or protests again, Rolf attacked her weak spot, nuzzling her neck until he heard a sigh escape her mouth. 

Smiling with satisfaction, he moved to her lips and devoured them with intensity and purpose clear in his mind. 

Yes, the possibility of having another child was possible and Rolf planned not to stop until he could make his mate have something in her belly.
