After a long day of school, i finally got home in one piece.

I hummed as I did my math homework on my bed.

'Carla!" I heard my mum call me

"Coming!" i responded

I quickly rushed downstairs to the kitchen. Rachel was leaning on the counter dressed in a bra and shorts painting her nails

My mum was standing folding her arms

"You called me" I said bowing my head

"Yes I have something to tell you both"

Rachel groaned

"Please let it not be stupid" she said

"I need you two to get prepared as quickly as possible. Alpha Damien, your father's rival is coming over for dinner to resolve their conflict"

Rachel's eyes widened. She dropped her nail polish on the counter in surprise

"Oh my gosh" she gasped "Alpha Damien? ...the alpha of the Silver Moon pack?'

"The one and only" my mum replied with a smile

She squealed

"Um who's Alpha Damien?" I asked. I've never heard of the man

"The toughest alpha in the state" my mum answered

"I heard he's totally hot" Rachel said

"I'm gonna go get ready" she said before dashing up the stairs with speed.

I was about to leave until my mum called me back
