Today was a very hectic day. Brayden and his sister were coming back early for some odd reason.
Roxy and I had to get ready for our trip so we were packing even though we had to leave tomorrow.
I didn't know what to pack. I knew I would need the necessary like toiletries and clothes. Would I need anything else?
Maybe some snacks for the ride. Or a med kit just in case somebody got hurt I don't really know.
I sighed closing my suitcase for now and leaning it against the wall near the door.
I decided to go see how Roxy's packing was going.
I knocked on her door before a big bang came.
I heard her groan loudly before she opened the door.
The agitated look on her face soon turned into a smile when she saw me.
“Hey I thought you were packing” She asked, rubbing her head and I nodded kissing injury gently.
“I just needed some help figuring out what to pack and I wanted to see how your packing was going” I said, glancing behind her at the mess that covered her room.
“Come in” She said and I nodded following her into her room shutting the door behind me.
“What was that big bang” I glanced around seeing nothing out of the ordinary besides the pile of clothes on her floor.
“It's a theory about how the earth started…” She began speaking an amused grin plastering on her face while I rolled my eyes at her.
“I mean in your room just now that caused you to hurt your head” I said and she laughed.
“I dropped my suitcase trying to get it from my closet shelf” She said and I nodded.
She was too short to reach it that's what the problem was.
I helped her pack grabbing stuff she couldn't reach on the shelf.
How did she even get it up there in the first place?
It was almost lunch time when we eventually finished.
We stood over her bags trying to figure out what to put back, because she brought what I believe to be more clothes than needed so her suitcases wouldn't shut.
Finally after a very exhausting fight to put the clothes back we were done.
We put her 3 suitcases against the wall near her door and went to my room.
We packed a few things it didn’t even take us half the amount of time it did with her because I wasn't obsessed with my clothes.
Roxy and I flopped on my bed tired from the whole packing experience. I hope I'll never have to repeat that again.
We were both drifting off. I held her by my side pulling her as close as possible.
I hope we wake up in time to greet Brayden even though I was a little bit worried.
I knew he hurt me a lot and reminded me all the time of my life from the past but I didn’t hate him.
I always learned it was better to forget and forgive your life would be miserable if you always focused on the negatives.
I pulled Roxy even closer to me allowing the darkness to completely take over.
I was sleeping well, not a problem in the world until there was a knock on the door.
I peeked one of my eyes open, glancing at the clock it was 7:30 half an hour until dinner.
I groaned laying Roxy beside me heading over to open the door.
I rubbed the sleep out my eyes before pulling it open to a very unexpected guest
