Chapter 111 

Charlotte woke up groggily, the smoke from the cigarette feeling like a fog in the room. She felt light and staggered slightly when she got off the bed. “Where am I?” 

“At the magic pack,” a familiar voice rang in her ears, and she focused her attention on the familiar man at the door. 

The familiar blonde hair and blue eyes struck a chord in her. She had met him just once but had enough memory him. Charlotte never thought that this man would keep his promise, but he did. 

“Goliath, how did 1 get here?” She asked, stabilizing herself by holding onto a chair. She had no idea what she looked like at the moment, recalling what happened to her at the Dark Moon pack and how she was almost stoned to death. 

Goliath dropped the half–burnt cigarette in an ashtray and ambled towards her, his voice filled with warmth. “One good tum deserves another, right?” 

Charlotte knew that he helped her to pass the message to Sheila, but who knew it would lead to Sheila’s return to the pack? 

Her wolf turned evil, but it also helped her to escape her untimely death. “I thought Charcoal helped me to escape.” 

Goliath agreed. “Yes, but he only got you out of the Dark Moon Pack. I picked both of you up a mile away.” 

Charlotte found hope, but her gaze darkened at the thought of Sheridan. She must have Alpha Nick now, but Charlotte was certain that all the intimacy between them was only to make her jealous because Alpha Nick caught her 

and Tom in the act. 

Alpha Nick never liked anyone in his space, so she was certain that the relationship between him and Sheridan would have returned to how it used to be, with Sheridan sleeping in a different room. 

“So, you want to return a favor?” She asked Goliath, and the latter nodded his head.

“It was my fault that your wolf turned evil, so I am at your command.” His tone 

Charlotte smiled evilly. Having sex with Goliath when he was under the influence of an aphrodisiac did not turn her wolf evil, but rather it was due to all her evil deeds against Sheridan. Since Goliath was taking responsibility for it, she would just let it remain so. 

“So, where am I?” She asked with renewed hope, already thinking about how to get her revenge against Sheridan. The only way to end the feud between them was if one person died. Charlotte did not think she was the one deserving death at this moment. 

“At the magic pack. The Alpha is under my spell and would do anything I want,” Goliath assured her. 

Charlotte had known after she slept with Goliath that night that he had some special powers. She just did not think it would be so strong to take control of an Alpha, especially of the magic pack. 

“How strong is their army?” She asked, already planning an attack against the Dark Moon pack. 

“Strong and great in number. You know they have magic too, right?” Goliath asked in an amused tone. Charlotte smiled knowingly. 

“That is why it’s called the magic pack. I thought their existence was just a myth.” 

In times past, the people from the magic pack used their magic to take things that were not theirs. Their uncouth behavior called for the packs seeking the moon goddess to address the issue, leading to the banishment of the magic pack. 

Chapter 111 

The location was hidden without them interfering with other packs. For centuries, they never interfered with any of the packs, making them non–existent and to some, even a myth. 

Who knew that Charlotte would be the one to awaken the magic pack into operation once again! 

“That is what everybody thinks because they can’t be traced and are protected by magic,” Goliath explained further, seeing as the information made Charlotte happy. 

“I have to attack the Dark Moon Pack, but I want to know first if Alpha Nick marked the bitch. His forcing me to accept his rejection does not change a thing. 

Charlotte’s expression was dark as she spoke. Through the attack, she could get rid of Sheridan once and for all. With magic, she could make Alpha Nick fall in love with her. 

The moment he marks and mates with her, there would be no turning back for him, and she would forever take control of the Dark Moon Pack. 

“Do you still want him?” Goliath asked with interest, and Charlotte did not respond directly. She rather asked. 

“Is there magic that can make him love and mate with me?” 

“There is, but only if he hasn’t marked and mated with Sheridan. You should have asked for it before sending me to pass the message to her in New York,” Goliath expressed thoughtfully. 

“I did not know that she had any ties with Alpha Nick by then. They had divorced,” she said with regret. If she had just a slight hint that Alpha Nick was going after Sheridan, she would have instructed Goliath to finish her off. 

“So, what are you doing with him?” Goliath stared at the man on the bed. Charlotte followed his gaze the realization that she had saved Tom’s life.

“Tom?” She went over and shook him on the bed. Tom opened his eyes with shock on his facial features. “Charlotte. How did we escape? How am I alive?” He was looking at himself as if he was just dug out from the earth. Charlotte’s expression was stern since things were no longer the same between her and Tom. “My wolf saved you, but my friend here kept us alive. 

Tom was only happy to be alive since he had lost hope. “Great. Let’s leave for California. I have some relatives there. We can start over. Also, since we both rejected our mates, we can mark each other.” 

Tom thought that she still loved him because she saved his life, but her response wiped his hopes. 

“If that is what you want, you are free to go, but I still want Nick, and Goliath has a charm for it. If you want Goldie too, he can work on something for you.” 

This was not what Tom wanted to hear. He thought that after everything, Charlotte would learn her lesson, but it did 

not seem so. 

Charlotte, if this i 

sman saved our lives, then let’s thank him and find a way to repay him. Just don’t waste the opportunity to be better than before.” 

Charlotte was getting upset by his sudden navigation towards righteousness. “Stop lecturing me. If you don’t want to do it, you are free to leave. You have five minutes to decide. After that, then you have to do everything I say.”
