Chapter 134
The moonlight cast a silver light on Daisy’s forehead, her appearance remarkable as she giggled like never before.
The girl was a happy one and her vibrance mad her lovable to everyone who saw or came into contact with her.
Everyone was stunned by the radiation and Athena had a satisfied smile, as cheers broke out from the lips of the pack members at the sight of Daisy.
This was the confirmation that she was indeed the chosen one and would bear the powers from the moon.
“She must be a special child, but how can she become the Alpha when she’s a girl?” one of the pack members asked.
The others nodded in agreement with the same question, Sheridan was nervous, knowing it was true, but Alpha Nick remained calm as he answered
them.
“If the moon goddess has given us a daughter, then it means she’ll be a female Alpha. Don’t worry. I will train her well for the position, and you will never even know she’s a woman.”
The pack members had heard of a female Alpha in the past, but the Dark Moon pack had never had one. They could only wait to see if Daisy would become stronger than the men.
One of them couldn’t help asking “Alpha, if Daisy becomes the Alpha, what would her mate be called? What if she mates with someone from another pack?”
The greatest fear of pack members and even Alphas was their members leaving the pack as a result of being mated to others from different packs like
Bree.
But there was nothing to could do about it but in a case where Daisy would be the Alpha, her leaving to another pack would cause them a great deal of
trouble and loss.
Alpha Nick was unconcerned. If that happened, the moon goddess would give them another child.

Daisy’s presence made it impossible for Alpha Nick to be upset. His excitement spread to every pack member.
The fear of what might happen if Daisy became the Alpha was forgotten as the pack members returned to being happy and excited.
“Tomorrow, we will have a party in honor of the heir of the Dark Moon Pack,” Alpha Nick announced joyfully, and the cheers continued as Daisy was lowered into her father’s arms.
er eyes darted curiously around the crowd, trying to identify the owners of the voices she heard.

“Thank you all for waiting. You can go to sleep now,” Alpha Nick said gratefully, pleased with his pack members.
The pack fell quiet once more, with a few warriors on patrol. Athena refused to let any nanny near Daisy, choosing to care for her little bundle of joy herself.
Remembering what his mother-in-law had said about Daisy enjoying watching her uncles train, Alpha Nick couldn’t wait to take her with him to training,
Then he recalled the seven pregnancies and asked Athena, “Mom, Sheridan’s seven brothers’ mates all got pregnant at once. Could it be just a coincidence or is there anything to it?”
“You mean Chloe, Quinn, Chaya, Elsa, Harlow, Tessa, and Bella are all pregnant?” Goldie could not contain her excitement as she asked. Sheridan nodded her head in agreement.

“Yes, Goldie, they all are. If I was not there, I would not have believed it.”
Goldie was the happiest upon hearing the news, knowing for how long those women waited.
“I can only imagine how happy they are at the pack now. Those seven women have cried a lot in secret, afraid that the pack members could get upset one day to demand their replacement,” Goldie explained.
Her excitement was great, as if she was the pregnant one. She added excitedly. “Dustin, you better get me pregnant or I’ll die.”
Everybody laughed but Dustin was beginning to have a headache. Since when were they supposed to conjure children?
– made that w “Relax. Babies aren’t made that way.” Dustin kissed her on the head, and Goldie had a profound look in her eyes.
“I love you so much. Do you know I used to come to the pack when Alpha Nick was mean to Sherry? She limited me to the kitchen then so I never saw you. I guess if I had, we would have rejected each other because of how much you hated Sheridan.”
The remembrance of the past saddened Alpha Nick and Beta Dustin, but Sheridan, noticing their sour mood, came through for them.
“I don’t think he would have. Maybe that would have forced him to start liking me because of you. I don’t know how things would have turned out after that, but I love the fact that our future is brighter than the past ever was.”
Goldie hugged Sheridan and remarked, “You are the purest of souls, and Daisy is the proof of it believe it’s her good luck that got all those women pregnant.”
Athena was all smiles, adding, “That is true. She must have heard them talk
Sheridan’s eyes widened as she kissed her daughter on the lips. “Hey, little angel. I wanna give you a brother. Do some magic.
Alpha Nick massaged his forehead frustratedly and answered on behalf of Daisy “Don’t worry. When the time is right, the Moon goddess would give us more amazing children.”
Athena shook her head, making everyone suspicious. “Mom, are you hiding something?” Alpha Nick asked curiously.
Taking a deep breath, she explained to them, “Not hiding anything. I just forgot to inform you about another side of Daisy’s powers.”
From the look in her eyes, both Sheridan and Alpha Nick could tell it was not going to be good.
“Mom, please don’t ruin our happy mood. Daisy would be fine, right?”
A smile stretched Athena’s lips at the mention of her granddaughter. Every good thing came with a sacrifice,
“Daisy is like anyone else over here, but there is just something you need to know about her generosity. It doesn’t extend to everyone.”
“We are her parents, so it should extend to us, right?” Sheridan asked with hopeful eyes. Athena forced a smile and dropped a hint.
“If you remember my lineage, then you would know what she’s contending against. The rules are different for grandchildren.”
“I don’t understand,” Alpha Nick said, with Sheridan bobbing her head in agreement. “Same here.”
