Chapter 84
A few days ago, when Alpha Nick left Sheridan at the resort, she felt empty but with great determination, she made a call. “Send the chopper.”
Everything had been prepared in advance, but there was a layer of hesitance before the person at the end of the line responded with a simple, “ok.”
Her wolf, Solara, instantly spoke. ‘You are hurting him.’
‘He hurt me more, and were you not the one urging me to leave before? Why do you suddenly want us to give him a second chance?‘ Sheridan probed.
Solara had not only hated Alpha Nick but also the pack when Alpha Nick asked for the divorce, but now, it seemed her little beast had turned against her after getting what she wanted.
‘He has changed, and he wants us.
Sheridan ended the communication, not willing to allow her wolf to change her mind as she picked up a pen and paper and began to scribble down a few things.
In less than thirty minutes, a helicopter landed. Sheridan went to pay the bills, only to realize they had already been paid, so she went to the chopper. Arnold and Goldie met her halfway, the same time a Range Rover pulled over. Six men got down from the car. They were Sheridan’s brothers.
The atmosphere turned heavy with sorrowful emotions. “So where are you going? Are you sure about this?” Atlas, the second among the seven brothers asked with a sorrowful expression.
“I’m most certain. This is the right thing to do,” Sheridan said, tears in her eyes. It was so hard, but Alpha Nick would never stop coming after her. This was necessary for her sanity, so she had to do it for the sake of her unborn baby.
“We shall visit you in turns,” Henry, the fourth said seriously. At first, Sheridan had been disowned, so they could not visit her, but this time, she was a free woman who just wanted a place of peace to rest.

well. “I’m sorry, but I won’t tell you my location. Alpha Nick might kidnap either of you to get it. It’s better for you not to know.”
Her words caused everyone around her to feel more sorrow. It hadn’t been long since they reunited, and she was leaving again so soon. “What about dad?” Jace, the sixth born asked, knowing that Sheridan would not want to be away from their father anymore after the promises she made to him.
Sheridan’s response was unexpected and not soothing to their already aching hearts. “I already spoke to him and mom. They understand that I need this.”
“You will be missed,” Boaz hugged her tightly, the rest joined as they shed painful tears. Sheridan had always liked to be independent, and she always made it on her own. They were certain that she would be able to take good care of herself.
“I know, but I will return a few months after the child is born,” she assured them. After all, the Moon Shine Pack was her home.
At that time, she would have the clarity of mind to know whether she and Alpha Nick were meant to be or who knows, he might just find his second chance mate before her return.
She almost had everything figured out until Goldie asked the multi–million- dollar question. “How will you hide the child from him after your return?”
Sheridan was lost in thought for a while, and everyone thought she was going to abort her plan before she finally said,
“Don’t worry about that. I could pretend it’s your child.” She turned to her brothers. “Take good care of our parents.” Goldie wanted to tell her that if the child happened to resemble Alpha Nick, then no one would believe that story. Nevertheless, she could not bring herself to say it.
“I can’t believe you are leaving us again after a short time. What about your businesses?” Arnold wiped a tear from the corner of his eyes before it had the chance to fall. Sheridan smiled through tears.
“I already made arrangements.”

It was just saddening that Henry did not understand Sheridan’s decision quite well. “I’m sorry, but I won’t tell you my location. Alpha Nick might kidnap either of you to get it. It’s better for you not to know.”

Chapter 84
When she boarded the chopper, after passing a note to Goldie, the sad realization that they were going to wait a long time to see her again hit home. This was all because of Alpha Nick. If he chose his mate, it was well understood, so why would he not stay with her?
Alpha Nick was uneasy with the turnout of events. He expected to see Sheila and not some blonde. He recalled he had seen her a few times with Sheila, except he never spoke to her.
“What is going on here? Where is Sheila? This is not Sheila,” he felt scammed by the turnout of events.
Goldie walked around and sat on the chair beside Alpha Nick. Swallowing tightly, she began to explain it to him. “Alpha Nick, I don’t know if you remember me, but I’m Goldie, Sheridan’s cousin. She left this for you.”
Goldie gave him an envelope which he eagerly tore open. An earring fell, and he quickly picked it up. It was the other pair of the diamond earring.
