The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage) novel Chapter 191

Sophie POV.

It has been a week since I was rescued by Harry and the club. I am not as sore as I was. I was banged up, but still alive. I’m living in the clubhouse now. I didn’t want to go back to my apartment and Harry wasn’t going to let me, anyway.

I learnt that Harry killed my dad. I felt nothing when he told me. Apparently, my dad was trying to bash my skull in with a broken branch. Harry saw red and shot him.

Jared is still alive and wants to speak to me. I will go and see him, but not yet. He can wait and think about what he and dad did to me. He can sweat it for all I care.

I’m sitting in the clubhouse with the beautiful lump that is Mystique at my feet. I’ve grown to love this big cat. She is super sweet and we are kindred spirits.

I am working tonight at Mommy’s Secret Cupboard. Harmony’s bar, much to Harry’s disapproval. He is so overprotective and I love him for it, but he needs to know I’m not made of glass.

“Hey Soph, how are you doin?” I look up and see Lucky sitting opposite me and I smile at him.

“Hey, Lucky. I’m doing good, thanks. How about you?” I ask him and he sighs and leans back into the soft leather of the booth.

“Oh, you know, getting by. Not long now before we move out.” He says, and I know he is both excited and sad to be spreading his wings and starting his own venture. I’m still getting used to the club dynamic. But to me they are one huge family.

He is starting his own MC called the Sinner’s Redemption or something like that. I haven’t known him long, but I can tell he is a nice person. Most people look at bikers and run for the hills and I’m ashamed to say I used to be one of those people.

But being around them all the time changed that perception. In fact, they are all sweet and cheeky, especially Hound. He is like a big kid. Michelle sure has her work cut out for her with him.

“When are you leaving?” I ask him, and he smirks at me.

“Why? You trying to get rid of me?” He says with a chuckle and I pick up a peanut and throw it at him.

“No, I may not have known you for long, Lucky, but you’re a good man and I wish you nothing but success.” I tell him and he nods his head, smiling now.

“Thanks Soph. You better come out and see me. We are leaving in two days. Being here has really opened my eyes to how things should be ran. I’m gonna miss them all. Especially my little doll.” He says, and I know he is talking about Melody. Everyone loves her and her sassy ways.

“I’m sure you will see her again. I may bring her with me to see you. Besides, you aren’t moving that far. So I’m sure you will be here more than usual to see her. And I know you will probably be calling Harmony and Outlaw every night to say good night to her.” I say to him and he chuckles.

“Yeah, you’re right. Do you need anything? I’m heading to the store.” He asks, and I shake my head at him.

“Nah, I’m good. Take it easy. I’ll see you later.” I say as he stands and walks towards me and kisses my cheek.

“Aye, you will. See you late Soph. Bye Mystique.” He says, giving the sleeping cat a stroke, and she doesn’t move. She is so comfortable around them all. Content and happy.

I watch as Lucky walks out just as Harry walks to me and sits next to me, slinging his arm over my shoulder and kisses me. I blush, not used to PDA. I should be by now, but I will get used to it.

“You ok?” He asks and I nod my head as I lean against him.
