Harmony POV.
I have been super busy today with the store and the construction of the bar. I managed to call in to see the twins at their house and johnny is doing great. He has been making a start on his tattoos. I drew a little picture and signed his cast. I bought with me an array of muffins, cookies and even cooked chicken pasta in tomato sauce so Michelle could focus on the twins. I even took Elijah with me to work for a few hours to give her and Hound a break.
When I was done, I dropped Elijah back with his parents and headed home to shower and change to head to Mav’s for dinner with him and Harmony. The thought of seeing him and Harmony again gives me butterflies in my stomach.
But before I head to his house I need to call into the clubhouse and find out what the plan will be going forward with the Sons Of Hades.
After all, I am part of this club. In other clubs, the women aren’t allowed to be privy to club business, but when that club business concerns the kids and women, they are allowed. Well, that is unless you are me or momma. We are allowed everywhere in the clubhouse. No one can say shit about it.
I enter the clubhouse and see Harry, AKA Wild Child, going over some paperwork. I walk over and sit next to him and bump him with my shoulder.
“Watcha doing, big brother?” I ask him and he looks at me and sighs.
“I hate doing paperwork. I would rather step on a lego barefoot than look at numbers and orders and shit.” He grumbles and I laugh as I pluck the paper from his hand and go over the information. I take after dad Dante for this whereas Harry takes after dad Dylan for his hatred of anything paperwork.
“This is easy, you big baby. Look, this is just your beer invoice. And this one.” I point to the stock list. “That one is what we currently have. Follow the last order invoice and adjust the numbers to accommodate the new and present stock. Simple.” I say to him and he just looks at me and then smiles at me like the Cheshire Cat.
“Oh my sweet baby sister, Harmony. I will buy you anything you want if you could you know help your big brother out? Pretty please with a cherry on top.” He makes the puppy dog eyes at me and I roll mine at him.
“Anything I want, huh?” I say, and an evil plan is forming in my head. He is nodding his head, clutching his hands together.
“Ok, but I will cash this favour, gift whatever you want to call it at a later date. But there will be no grumbling or seeing your ass over it, ok?” I hold my hand out for him to shake it and he does smiling. Oh, brother, you have no idea what I have planned for you.
“Deal. Gotta run and do you know club shit?” He says, kissing me on the head as he speed walks away.
I do the paperwork and place the orders for the bar, the kitchen, the bike shop, and the tattoo parlour. Also, check the inventory for the ammunition and everything else the brothers need.
This is why I am more business minded and see this all as a business, even if it is for family. I look at the time and log out of the laptop and gather up all the paperwork and walk to the office to place it all in the safe.
Leaving the office, I head to the bar and grab a soda and see I have an hour before I need to be at Mav’s house, so I may as well chill out for a little while.
“Harmony, where is your brother?” Dad asks, and I point to the conference room. I should have been in there, but I was too busy going over the books and inventory. It’s no big deal. They will tell me the outcome later on.
“Did he do the books, or did you do them?” He asks, chuckling, and I smile at him. Dad, Dante, walks to me and kisses my head.
“You should know better that Harry will never do the books. So yeah, I did them.” I say and he laughs just as Church comes to an end and Harry walks out and stops in his tracks, seeing our dad looking at him. He points to the door and bolts. I roar in laughter. He will never change.
“There she is. Let me guess: Wild Child roped you in to do the books again?” Momma asks as she walks closer to me and dad and I shrug my shoulders.
