The Billionaire Alpha’s Contract Lover by Caesar Erickson novel Chapter 1361

Chapter 1361
Upon hearing this, Jayden’s heart sk ipped a beat.
After dealing with Preston’s matter, Griffon brought the
conversation back around, clearly intending to hold him
accountable for this issue.
Jayden turned around to face Griffon and couldn’t help but shiver when his gaze met those sharp eyes.
“I don’t know the full extent of your affairs, so I won’t comment. Alphaknows what’s in your own heart!”
“Is that so?”
The smile on Griffon’ lips carried a chilling and intimidating
aura.
“I heard that Harper took Jayden to the capital to meet Silas a
while ago?”
Jayden didn’t understand the meaning behind Griffon’ question and didn’t dare to speak out of turn, so he simply
nodded.
“Harper has always treated Silas like a younger brother.
Bringing you to meet him shows that she wants his approval.
After seeing you, he must have thought you were decent
enough to entrust Harper to you. But you, on the other hand, have been gossiping about him and my wife behind his back. Shouldn’t Jayden apologize to Mr. Johnson?”
“I haven’t been gossiping about him and Taya. I was just
mocking you…”
In an attempt to distance himself, Jayden spoke without thinking, giving Griffon a handle on him.
“So, you’re saying that if you mock me, you don’t need to apologize?”
It turns out that this whole discussion was just a way for Griffon to force him to apologize, using Silas as a pretext.
While Jayden was thinking this, Griffon, who was not playing by the rules, took out his phone and found a picture of Silas. He then raised his finger and lightly tapped the screen.
“Silas is here. Bow down to him and apologize. That will settle
this matter.”
Andre, who was standing nearby, couldn’t help but laugh.
Alpha wasn’t asking Jayden to apologize to Silas, but clearly wanted Jayden to apologize to him.
After all, the person in front of the photo was Alpha, not Silas.
Hearing Andre’s laughter, Jayden suddenly felt at a loss.
“I was only using Silas as a metaphor. There’s no need to take it to this extent, is there?”
“It is necessary.”
Griffon put his hands in his pockets, looked down from the photo with arrogance, and glanced at Jayden indifferently.
“Some people should not be casually used as metaphors. By doing this, I’m also trying to teach you a lesson.”
Jayden’s face darkened.
“Are you really willing to disregard Harper just to force me to
bow down?”
“Using Harper to morally blackmail me is not wise. If I were you, I would continue to choose to be flexible.”
Griffon counterattacked with his proud way of doing things, which infuriated Jayden to no end.
Jayden clenched his fists, seething with anger, while Griffon showed no signs of backing down, coolly observing him.
