Chapter 725
Taya thought that Griffon would go to the Knight pack after dropping her off at Harper’s villa, but he turned and followed
her into the villa.
Harper’s maid, Mandy, was as delighted to see Griffon’ arrival as she was to see her son-in-law, and hastened to respectfully welcome him into the living room.
“Alpha, have a seat and I’ll make you a cup of coffee…”
After finishing speaking, Mandy turned her head to glance at Griffon, and then made a gesture to encourage Taya, signaling with her eyes for Taya to win Griffon’ heart.
Taya raised her hand to stroke her forehead, then she walked
over to Griffon and said, “Griffon, I have a present for you, I’ll
go to my room to get it.”
Leaning back on the sofa, Griffon’ long legs crossed lazily, a smile seemed to tinge his brows when he heard she was going
to give him something, “Okay.”
Taya turned around and went to the study. Griffon sitting in the living room took out his mobile phone and called Harper, who was still working at the nightclub.
When he put down his phone, he saw Taya rushing out of the study, “Mandy, have you seen the design drafts I put in the study?”
Mandy was making coffee in the pantry, she quickly poked her head out and replied, “Didn’t Alpha Knight already take the design drafts?”
Hearing these words, Taya looked at the cold and noble
man on the sofa, “You took the design drafts I drew for the headquarters of the Knight pack?”
Only now did Griffon realize that what she was going to give
him were the design drafts, “Yes, and they had already been
used for development.”
Taya stared at him blankly for a few seconds, recalling the previous press conference on the redevelopment of Knight pack headquarters, before it slowly dawned on her, “You should still be mad at me at that time, why did you want to use my design?”
Griffon did not care, stretched out his hand, and pulled her into his arms, “I promised to use your design. And, I also said that I would use your design to participate in the competition, so I will definitely do it, under any circumstances.”
His personal feelings were not important, as long as he helped
With her nose tingling, Taya buried her head in his arms and whispered, “Alpha, you are so good…”
Griffon smiled as he put his arms around her and gently patted her back, “I forgot to tell you, your design has passed the preliminary round, and are now under second review. You
will be notified soon.”
Upon hearing this sentence, which interrupted her emotional moment, Taya’s feelings of being moved instantly disappeared, and nervous emotions overwhelmed her, “Is it that international architecture competition?”
Griffon nodded, and Taya said in a panic, “No, I have no experience in competition. If I make it to the final, I don’t know what I would say if I were to go on stage and talk about my design ideas…”
She tended to get nervous when she was on stage, and when she was nervous she could not speak, not to mention the fact that it was an international competition.
This kind of competition would attract internationally renowned architects, if she made a fool of herself, what
should she do?
Griffon released one hand from her waist and pinched her
smooth round cheek instead, “Don’t be afraid, I’m with you.”
He always had the magical power of comforting Taya, which also brought a great sense of security to her.
But Griffon was unable to help her with the on-stage presentation. She had to rely on herself.
Taya grabbed the collar of his suit, stroked it a few times, and persuaded herself to relax.
Now that her design had only passed the preliminary round, only the result of the second review would determine whether
she would make it to the final.
It was so unreasonable that she was now worried about going
on stage, maybe her design did not get through in the second
review.
Thinking about it, Taya suddenly calmed down as she was convinced that, as a freshman, it would be difficult for her to
enter the finals.
Then, she looked up at Griffon, “The gift I wanted to give you is the design drafts, but you took them away in advance and lost the sense of surprise, I’ll give you another gift…”
Griffon smiled and replied with an “Okay”. With a deep gaze, he quietly looked at Taya, who was pondering what gift to
give him.
Seeing that she had not been able to think of a present to give, Griffon coughed lightly and asked, “There is a new manor in the east center of the city. I bought few years ago for mating ceremony, and it hasn’t been renovated yet. If I may, could Mrs. Knight give me a design for the mating ceremony house?”
