Taya didn't confront Elsie directly, instead she looked at Preston and told the truth.
“Earlier when I threw the bouquet, Harper caught it first. However, your girlfriend pushed the bouquet out of Harper's hands to please your sister. If you don't believe me, you can ask your sister.”
Taya wanted to come and clarify the truth of the matter to prevent Preston from only hearing one side of the story. However, she was delayed by the elders of the Knight pack who surrounded her.
After she finished speaking, she smiled and added, "Also, when your sister returned the bouquet to Harper, she immediately gave it to your girlfriend, who didn't want it for some reason. I don't know why she refused to take it, but she insisted on you asking for it back."
When Preston heard this sentence, his face turned dark. When he turned to look at Elsie, there was a hint of indifference in his eyes.
Did she not say that she lowered her face and disregarded her dignity to ask Harper for a bouquet of flowers, but Harper refused to give it to her and even said she didn't deserve it?
Elsie's face drooped when she caught his gaze, and she pouted, saying, "I misunderstood Harper's meaning. I thought she was unwilling to give it to me."
After Elsie finished speaking, she lifted her teary eyes and looked at Preston.
