With Stella’s reminder, everyone suddenly remembered that there was still a little girl in the office. 

Dominick turned around and followed Stella’s pointing finger, his curiosity piqued. He was dying to know what kind of kid would have the guts t hit his son. To his surprise, it was a tiny little girl. barely above his knees. 

At that moment, the girl was hiding behind a money tree, looking utterly pitiful. Her clothes were messy with water. Her large eyes were wide with fear, which made her look like a scared little kitten. 

At the sight of her. Dominick looked at Grayson, who was cuddled up in Marissa’s arms for comfort, Dominick furrowed his brows even deeper. 

He couldn’t believe Grayson had been brought to tears by this tiny girl. Honestly, at this point, he had to give so and sull managing to make two first–graders cry.

At that moment, Marissa looked up from Grayson, her gaze catching on the little girl. The instant she saw Serena, her whole body tensed. Her mind raced with a possibility. It can be. She’s the same kid who was with Paisley this morning? She just said her last name was Sutton. That means… she’s Paisley’s daughter‘
