Dominick only gave the manager a faint glance, too lazy to say a word to her. His attention was entirely on Paisley. “Why aren’t you eating?”
Seeing Dominick’s lecturing expression, Paisley immediately felt rebellious. “Why does it matter to you whether I eat or not? Are you so free? Why are you here in the first place?”
“Paisley, you- Dominick was enraged by Paisley’s indifferent attitude and gritted his teeth.
Julian had arranged all the food trucks as per Dominick’s instructions, finding the best hotels in Harrowfell to prepare everything. Watching Paisley being ungrateful and even showing disdain, Julian felt sorry for Dominick.
“Dominick is just worried about you, afraid you’d forget to eat because of work,” he said.
“So, this is his way of interrupting our normal work? What? Does he want me to thank him?” Paisley wasn’t impressed by Julian and, hearing him speak for Dominick, snapped back without hesitation.
The appearance of the food trucks had indeed disrupted the normal filming schedule.
“I didn’t know.” Dominick’s voice became softer, and there was a hint of embarrassment on his handsome face.
“You didn’t know,” Paisley couldn’t help but laugh angrily.
Dominick was always like this, thinking he could express himself in his own way without understanding others.
She used to be a housewife, while he was always busy with work and socializing. Her concerns and complaints were all blocked out, as he thought she was just making a fuss.
