Saskia's cheeks were flushed with a rosy tint as she considered her latest romantic conquest. While he might not be on par with Isaac or Holden in terms of prominence, he was still a catch in Craneville and, most importantly, he was smitten with her.
Saskia had a talent for pulling heartstrings, and with just a little effort, she had this man wrapped around her finger, constantly seeking her company for dates. But Saskia wasn't just looking for dates; she was aiming for a marriage.
Watching Saskia's confident demeanor, Leila knew her daughter had a plan. "Saskia, if you truly like him, I won't let you be at a disadvantage."
Then, turning to Yuri, she inquired, "Yuri, for the upcoming birthday dinner, do you think we could extend invitations to some royalty?"
Yuri was noncommittal. After all, Saskia bore the name of the Lynette family. Marrying into royalty would bring prestige to their family name. He sipped his coffee thoughtfully before responding, "We can."
Saskia maintained her cool composure at the dinner table. After the meal, she got ready and left the house.
As she exited the Lynette estate, she couldn't miss the bright red sports car parked not too far away. A young man stepped out as soon as he saw her approach. "Saskia," he greeted her.
Saskia smiled, her eyes sparkling. "Hey there, Jonathan."
Jonathan Metzger's heart melted at her voice. He hurriedly opened the passenger door for her. "Saskia, please, get in."
Saskia nodded. She had done her homework on Jonathan, figuring out exactly the type of woman he desired. She had meticulously crafted herself to fit that ideal.
Demure, gentle, seemingly helpless.
It was a persona she usually despised, the frail damsel, but it was exactly what Jonathan fell for.
As Jonathan drove, he bubbled with excitement. "Saskia, your birthday is coming up. What gift would you like? How about I buy you a house in Bay Community? It's perfect for investment or for you to live in."
Jonathan was generous, especially when it came to Saskia, but she wasn't interested in such material things.
"No need, I'm happy living with Mom," she declined softly.
Her rejection only strengthened Jonathan’s belief that Saskia wasn’t interested in his wealth.
