Chapter 133
He was drenched in red wine. “Im off to the loo to clean up.” He cast a glance at Allison and left
The singing Darlene Bray came over, and Natalie exaggerated, “Darlene, this waiter is such a shameless hussy, trying to seduce Kelvin. She even bumped right into his arms. “I didn’t.” Allison frowned
Without a word, Darlene slapped Allison across the face.
Allison’s face was jerked to one side, her lips tingling slightly
Not yet satisfied, Darlene cursed, “You shameless waitress, how dare you try to seduce my man? Shameless!”
With that, she yanked Allison’s hair, pulling her down. Allison swayed and sat on the floor, covering her cheek, a little dazed.
Natalie chimed in “Darlene, waitresses these days are the absolute worst. They think they’re all that and try to snag rich guys. It’s sickening”
A glass of red wine splashed onto Allison’s face.
“You slut!” Darlene spat angrily, “Daring to make a play for my man?”
Natalie, knowing Darlene’s temper, tried to intervene: “Darlene, calm down.”
Darlene shoved Natalie away, saying. “It’s not your man she’s after, so of course you’re not pissed. But I’m here, and this shameless woman dares to publicly seduce Kelvin If I weren’t here, who knows, she might have stripped naked and climbed into Kelvin’s bed.”
With red wine staining her face, Allison raised her hand to wipe it off, saying, “I didn’t touch him. This lady tripped me, and I accidentally spilled the wine on Mr. Kelvin’s clothes”
“You dare argue back; do you think I’m blind?” Darlene glared at Allison’s face. Looking at her flawless beauty, she felt a twinge of jealousy. This waitress had better skin than her, who spent a fortune on makeup. Kelvin had his fair share of women, but to have a waitress try to one–up her was an insult
“Hale, this waitress is pretty fine, why don’t you take her?” Darlene suggested it to a man nearby.
The man Darlene was addressing was Hale Foster, a typical playboy, a spoiled rich kid living off his family’s wealth.
His current female companion wasn’t happy with Darlene’s suggestion, but she wasn’t his girlfriend and had to please him by saying “Hale!”
Hale put down his cards and walked over to get a closer look at Allison, and his eyes lit up. “She’s quite a looker.”
It was rare to find such a beauty working at the Red Jack Club.
But the Red Jack Club had rules, you couldn’t touch the staff here, but outside the club, it was fair game.
He feigned concern, saying, “Darlene, this is tricky, you know the club rules.”
Darlene retorted, “Give me your room number, and I’ll deliver this slut to your bed”
Allison stood up, her chest heaving with emotion and her fists clenched. She turned and walked out as they continued their insults.
Darlene shouted after her, “You dare to walk away? Where’s the manager? I want to speak to the manager!”
Natalie tried to defuse the situation by saying “Darlene, it’s Kelvin’s birthday”
Hale chimed in, “Yeah, let’s just chalk that up to a joke. It’s Kelvin’s birthday, and Lucian and James are here. If this gets out of hand, it’ll be awkward for everyone.”
Darlene, spoiled by her family, started to lose her temper. “I want that waitress to apologize to me! Where’s the manager? Who’s the manager here?*
Five minutes later, Sarah appeared in room 309.
I’m sorry, ladies and gentlemen, our waiters are strictly trained, they wouldn’t do what this lady is accusing them of.”
Darlene crossed her arms and said, “Oh? Are you saying I’m lying?”
Sarah kept her cool. “I did not mean that, I was just stating the facts.
