Allison said, “Don’t worry, you’re okay for now But when the ambulance artives, you must go to the hospital for a thorough check–up” 

Looking at the young woman before him Carter asked, ‘Did ymi save me?” 

Allison replied with a downcast gaze. “Sort of ”

Despite feeling rough Carter couldn’t help but chuckle at her words.

Steve chimed in, “Yeah, Allison, you were amazing tonight. Your medical skills are top notch. Did you use acupuncture?” 

Allison put her acupuncture needles back into her bag and replied, “Yes. I learned it from my grandma when I was a kid. She was a local doctor, so I followed in her footsteps” 

As Allison was about to leave, she ran into Jason. 

“Allison, let me give you a lift” 

“But didn’t you go to the hospital with them?” 

“They all went, including my mom So, I came back Come on, let me take you home” 

The entire ride, Allison was looking out the window it was around 9 pm, and the night view outside the car window was enchanting. 

Jason glanced at the rear–view mirror, taking in the view of Allison’s gentle and refined face. He tightly gripped the steering wheel and found the courage to say, “Allison, thank you for tonight. Thank you for saving my grandpa”

If anyone else had suddenly fallen ill and she had the ability to help, she would’ve done the same.
