Lucian stepped out onto the seaside resting area. 

Penelope got up. “Lucian” 

She walked over, grabbing Lucian’s arm, Lucian, the pearls here are beautiful. I just shucked a pink one” She showed him the pearl bracelet wrapped around her wrist, “Lucian, see” 

Lucian glanced at it casually. “If you like it, that’s all that matters.” 

This region was all pearl farms, entirely monopolized by Lindberg Corporation after its development. 

Many folks were green with envy 

James swaggered over, “Found any ‘treasure‘ yet?” 

He looked at Lucian, then at the crowd in the rest area, but didn’t see Allison. “Weren’t you with Allison? Where’d she go?” 

Hearing Allison’s name, Penelope got a bit ticked off. What? Was Lucian with Allison in the jungle? 

She knew that Allison was trying to get close to Lucian!! 

“Don’t know.” Lucian thought of her waiting inside to meet Jason and his throat suddenly felt dry. 

“Then where did she go?” James didn’t spot Allison around. 

Nearby, a girl mentioned, “Isn’t Allison with Jason? In the jungle, Jason’s been looking for her non–stop.” 

James shook his head, “No, Jason’s been out for a while now.” 

Lucian frowned, “Jason’s out?” 

In the rest area, a girl said, “Yeah, one of the girls in Jason’s team, Lily, got bitten by a snake. They’ve been out for hours.” 

Lucian’s face went ashen. 

He checked his watch. It was 5 in the afternoon. The jungle was dense, and it was starting to darken. Was Allison still inside? 

His heart clenched. 

He pulled his hand free from Penelope and strode forward. James saw the change in Lucian’s face and immediately realized Allison was still inside, he quickly followed Lucian while Penelope hurriedly called out, “Lucian, where are you going?” 

Lucian didn’t answer Penelope; he immediately told James, “Contact Carl, gather everyone, and start searching for Allison!” 

“Got it!” 

Lucian grabbed a flashlight and strode into the jungle. 

Back in the rest area, Penelope was stomping her foot in frustration. 

Her face was a picture of rage, almost twisted. 

Nathalie and Sabina didn’t dare to say a word. Sabina glanced at Nathalie, who walked over to Penelope, attempting to console her, “Penelope, don’t get angry, remember you’re pregnant!” 

“Allison! I knew it, not only is she with Jason, but she’s also trying to lure Lucian!” What really scared Penelope was that Lucian seemed to have real feelings for Allison
