The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison) novel Chapter 288

Chapter 288

Allison dodged his gaze, “I need to find some clothes, Where’s the one I was wearing from last night?”

“You can’t wear your clothes because they’re ripped He picked up a towel and wiped the water droplets off his short hair.

Allison leaned against the wardrobe, the cold touch of the glass behind her bringing her back to her senses. Her checks flushed. Thanks

“Thanks for what? Empty words do you no good. Action speaks louder than words. He glanced at her beautiful face, lightly biting his teeth.

Allison’s eyes flickered, “Can I borrow one of your shirts?”

Five minutes later, Allison had changed into a black tracksuit. The man’s clothes were big, but the tracksuit was meant to be loose anyway. Aside from the pants being a tad long, it fit her quite well.

As she prepared to leave, a voice sounded from behind her, Im hungry You cook”

She froze. She turned to look at the man heading towards the study. Was he telling her to cook?

Allison went downstairs and was surprised to find that this spacious 200-square-meter mansion had no housekeeping staff.

Lucian had previously asked her to keep her distance, leaving their relationship at a stalemate. She didn’t know how to face him, didn’t know how to interact with him. She had her secrets in her heart, along with the dreams of her youth, and the pressures of life. But he had saved her now. Was it right for her to just walk away?

Allison went to the kitchen. Everything was clean here; all the kitchenware looked brand new.

Opening the fridge, she found it stocked with every ingredient imaginable.

Allison washed her hands and started preparing breakfast. She cooked a bunch of dishes, enough to feed four people. By the time she finished, an hour had passed.

She set the food on the dining table, glancing at the time before going upstairs to get Lucian. He should be in his study.

She knocked softly on the door. There was no response.

Allison pushed the door open to find the man asleep on the sofa. The French windows were open, letting a breeze in that rustled the beige curtains

She bent down to look at the sleeping man. Lucian had a handsome face perfect jawline, high nose, and deep eyes. This flawless face was enough to make the heart of any high society girls in Nortfield flutter. When he was asleep, his usual cold demeanor was gone, making him look more gentle.

Allison draped a blanket over him, watching him quietly.

Time seemed to stand still in this moment.

Lucian had a dream in his dream, a faintly scented figure seemed to be right next to him. This light fragrance put him at ease.

A phone rang
